Inzaghi is doing the exact same fucking thing over and over again, expecting shit to change 😆 hopefully this time Asllani will do better
thats the best possible 11 for me..

I've seen a few people suggesting that the Bologna draw was no big deal set as it was in the middle of a strong run. I think we saw last night why that's not too helpful here - if you win loads of games in succession it means nothing if there are teams ahead of you, like Napoli, doing the same thing.

We lost the title in 22 because Milan put together a ridiculous run in the second half of the season. We never got close to the title in 23 because Napoli put together a ridiculous run for the first two thirds of the season. We were the ones with the ridiculous run last year. So each of these past few seasons we've seen that to win the title you need to put together a relentless run of wins to blow away your opponents and that the points we have already carelessly dropped has taken away all our comfort zone.

I struggle to complain about line ups or even subs recently. This is the team, and these are Inzaghi’s only options, dogshit as some of them may be.

Could he dare to throw in a primavera player in? Sure. Will he? No, so no point wishing for it.

Great post. The Bologna game was the latest costly example of us dropping needless points from a winning position, which seems to be our speciality this season.

Another thing that worries me was how toothless we were following the equalizer. There was a full 30 minutes of play after Bologna's second goal and we did fuckadoodledoo in that half hour. The team doesn't have the same focus to hold onto results, nor the hunger to grab a late winner the way we did last season.

If we surrender a lead at any stage in the game, I no longer have any confidence in this team's ability to go out and retake the lead.

Those issues, combined with our inability to beat any big teams this season, are going to cost us dearly.

People were complacent saying that we have 2 games in hand and whatever bullshit. Who cares. We squandered that advantage and now even if we do win the 2 in hand we're on equal points with Napoli. Not only do we need to match them point for point, we also have about 10 more games to squeeze in between. We're fucked.

People here were saying that Limone will surpass Mourinho and treble winning team. Fairy tale.

Napoli has a game once a week,we play every 3 days...they just more fresh and less injuries for them too, obviously
Asslani is not good enough to be the DLP against the top teams yet,it a huge responsability and he is 22 ffs...idk if he ever will be at Inter,he should have been loaned out ...he came here when he was 20.

Man Cafe I love you but if we’re at the point we have to look for comfort in a 1-0 win vs Venezia as to why Asslani should start we’re in trouble.
If we have a player who can start these games, we absolutely need to use him.

If it's possible I rather go with

Barella-Asllani-Zielinski

Than

Frattesi-Barella-Zielinski

Barella brings so much more to our game vs what we lose having Asllani as regista than Barella. I would use Zielinski as mezzala, and regista only when necessary.

Asllani showed on Wednesday he can't play against a team like Bologna, but against Venezia he showed he can play against them. At this point I'm saying Empoli is more close to Venezia than Bologna but we'll see about that this evening.

Right, let's see if Asllani is better than the Empoli players so he can move up a level in competence.

The reason for this could be that we're quite slow in transition from defence to offence and have a slow squad in general, bar Thuram and Buchanan (if he plays). That becomes a huge problem when we're chasing a result, which ends up look like we're not trying hard enough. You look at the clock, you see 30 minutes left to get a result, but you'll see like 10 minutes of action at the end.

Having shitty finishers have a hand in it too. We did not play any worse than previous matches, but you don't always get lucky with wasting your chances and coming out as winners.

Plus our players couldn’t play the way Inzaghi wants for whole 90 minutes, takes too much running. Either starting slow in first half, high tempo first 20 minutes second half to kill the game or we play aggressively from 10 to 40 first half then let opponents have ball for rest of game, awaiting for counter.

Seems that creativity of Thuram in attack is bigger problem than Asllani playing regista in the middle.

Nice.
