Sounds pretty terminal. I’m glad I’ve stopped watching their games: pathetic fuckn losers.

The best thing that could happen is for this shit club to miss out on qualifying for the Champions League. It will force Zhang’s hand.

we got defeated after winning a trophy and Rube have 15 points deduction. this is so inter 🤣

At least we can now say fully good bye to scudetto and focus on finishing 4th at the table.

I said goodbye to the Scudetto two months into the season. Anyone who thought that we were a contender after the first two months was dellusional and kidding themselves.

Losing to Lazio, Milan, Udinese, and Roma pretty much fucked our season and any hopes we had of trying to challenge for the Championship.

This is 2023, and we have Dzeko as our main striker. That's enough for me to keep your Scudetto dream out.
Our starting XI is wonderful, but our subs meh, plus we have so much aging players who can't keep pace in our busy schedule.

We need new owner, or at least new sponsor so we can renew contract some key players.

It's okay though right? We won the Super Coppa. A "trophy" every season is what counts.

And the worst part about it is that winning the Super Coppa will lead our owners to believe that the squad only needs a few minor additions to remain competitive: add a few veterans, tinker with the available players on the fringe of the squad and their work will be done!
i did not realize that this game was more important then the Supercoppa, interessting. Seriously, people saying that the Supercoppa win was useless should remember that we are still in CL + Coppa and we are still in a good position for top 4... what do you expected? It was only a matter of time. After losing Conte, Hakimi, Perisic.. everything is going the wrong way. That's why i think that it's still a decent season if we manage top 4, we don't have the team to win scudetto.
6 years ago we only could dream about winning Supercoppa and qualyfing for CL. Sure it's sad but once we lose Skriniar we are getting more and more mediocre like we were in that time. Maybe there will be a owner change, that's the only thing we can hope probably.

Inzaghi needs to go. Not a good fit at all. Bitch coach with majority of bitch players and this is the result.

Nagashit effect.

ElDuccio, I think you missed the point of my last post. What I was trying to say was that the Super Coppa masks the cracks that are turning into chasms within the squad.

The Empoli match was not more important than the Super Coppa match but winning a trophy reinforces the fact that the squad does not need a major overhaul and only requires tinkering around the edges. And the relevance of that is that our owners are so cheap that they will use the Super Coppa victory to say that the team is still competitive and only needs minor changes.

Our team is still competitive though. Our starter 11 is the strongest 11 in the league without a doubt (juves being very close if everyone fit)

The problem is, we have a fucking loser of a coach over them.

Once we lose skriniar for free and whoever in the summer, fuck knows what shape we'll be in. Banterish I'd say

They will return to Glory mode once Inter beat some top teams and overtake Milan in the table.
I say we will go into a slump and then win 3 games at the end to secure the top4.

Throw a defender after the red card instead of play 4-3-2 was too dumb to be true.
In the other hand i did agree with the idea of throw Dzeko and Lukaku in without Lautaro coming out.

Really liked the yellow numbers and lettering.

Unfortunate result all in, some positives to take but I'll leave that for now.

We move on, season is still on course we just have leg work to do. Trophy, CL knock outs and still (just about) in the race.

Let's have it guys, we got this.

Well, that makes sense, even if i believe that they would still not sell Inter if we would have lost that final. No owner change means also no money, no important upgrades for the team.

There are anyway people who are saying that Inzaghi is a shit coach because he only wins Cups. But as i said im happy honestly because i don't think that we could do more with this team in the moment.

Our team is still competitive though. Our starter 11 is the strongest 11 in the league without a doubt (juves being very close if everyone fit)

Maybe Napoli does not have a better team but they have a lot of alternatives compared to us. Watching our bench we have an injured Lukaku, Correa, Gagliardini, a downgraded De Vrij, Dambrosio. Napoli i don't even have to list it, only thinking that they have Raspa and Simeone warming the bench is insane!

As you said our starter could be the strongest of the league, but even there i see too many problems. Starting from Di Marco who can't defend. Darmian replaced Dumfries recently, which confirms how shit he has become. Darmian anyway is a decent player but as starter not good enough for me. Same goes for Acerbi and Dzeko. Players who have great moment for now but are old and incosistent. We are missing a worldclass striker. Im not even talking about someone like Halland, just someone you can trust to be dangerous infront, like Lukaku was 2 years ago for example.
Not sure about Goalkeeper, hope Onana continues improving (yesterday he could have done more on that goal honestly)

It will be really hard to improve this team without money.
