Don't care too much for telles so far. Based on their few performances this season, Juan has been by far the superior left back.

It seems to me Mancini prefers him for one of two reasons. 1) Because he offers a lot more going forward and is a natural fullback. 2) Because Mancini brought him here and has worked with him previously at Gala, so he wants to see him succeed.

Or maybe its a combination of both. However based on what I've seen so far I agree I would prefer Juan at LB.

I don't disagree but I don't even think Telles has been better than Juan in his major 'advantage' of going forward. Juans just been nuts at LB so far (only 2 or 3 matches) but good defending, GR8 energy and surprisingly good crosses.
