So Mkhitaryan will start - despite barely recovering from injury - because it's too soon to rush Frattesi. When we return from the international break we play Milan - and of course we don't want to start Frattesi right after a 2 week break or in a high pressure derby. So basically Frattesi has no hope of starting until October at best.

A normal coach, definitely will start Frattesi and give more time to Mkhitaryan for full recovering.
It's easy to foresee that Klaassen will become the first substitute in our midfield, and this is already disgusting.

Inzaghi doesn’t have a strong fetish for old players. Do you see him starting Arna and Sanchez instead of Martinez and Thuram? Or any of the old players instead of Bastoni?

What he has a fetish for is that he prefer to field experience, but experience dos not necessarily equal high age. Martinez and Bastoni have years of experience now, but at no time has Inzaghi had issues with using them even when they where the same age as Frattesi.

But when a player is inexperienced and is young this is where Inzaghi turn very conservative and reluctant to play them. We have seen it with Asllani and we will most likely also see that with Bisseck. Inzaghi are not a developing coach nor one who like take such risk if given the choice.

Frattesi is really up in the air, as he dos have limited experience, the question is if Inzaghi would rather use Klaassen more simply because of that. Frattesi will probably get some playing time but it will probably be as 5 choice.

It really makes sense to play Dumfries as a starter all season and use Cuadrado as a revulsive player to comeback from games.
