GdS's predicted INTER (4-2-3-1): Handanovic; Campagnaro, Vidic, Andreolli, D'Ambrosio; Medel, Kuzmanovic; Guarin, Palacio, Podolski; Icardi.

Handa
Camp-Vidic-Andreolli-D'Ambro
Medel-Kuz
Guarin-Pawlacio-Poldi
Icardi

So Palacio is a trequartista now?! :oblivious:

Hernanes and Shaq benched.

Mancini doesn't like Hernanes or is Guarin more fit?!
There's always a way to start both Guarin and Kuz :oblivious:

Knowing Mancini we'll probably see something like this:
Podolski - Icardi
Hernanes
Kuzmanovic - Medel - Guarin
D'Ambrosio - Andreolli - Vidic - Campagnaro
Handanovic

Then he'll sub Shaqiri on the 2nd half and play with wingers.

What's with people putting M'Vila in every damn suggested formation? I get it, you like him because he used to be really good and you want to include him in the lineup hoping he regains his form? Yes, sure it could happen if you believe that. Also, Santa is real and unicorns do actually exist!

People need to get over the fact that M'Vila is finished, that's it. He is not the same M'Vila from two years ago.

He is overweight and in the 6 months that he's been here he still hasn't regained his fitness even. When do you expect him to regain his fitness (losing the extra weight)? and when is he going to regain his form?

He is not playing because he is not fit, plain and simple and that's his problem, he just needs to work harder.

Mazzari didn't play him much, Mancini is not playing him so clearly the guy is not fit. Forget about Mazzari and Mancini, even we ourselves have seen it. HE IS NOT FIT!!

So stop including him in every damn lineup!

Kuz has been playing regularly and has been doing an OK job yet still you suggest M'Vila to start over him? The same M'Vila that every time he was given a chance he was shit? Seriously? Do you really think that could happen?

Because if you wanna play with a 4-2-3-1 you gotta have two solid defensive midfielders in the center and M'Vila's role is that of a DM. You can't depend on Kuz or Guarin too much on defensive duties.

Motta wasn't a solid defensive midfielder and neither is M'Villa.

Well, Motta didn't keep getting caught off his position like Kuz. Motta was a good passer as M'Vila is. Sorta used like an anchor point.

next five games:
Inter-Genoa
Empoli - Inter
Inter - Torino
Sassuolo - Inter
Inter - Palermo

I dont care with which formation we play, be it 4-2-3-1 or 4-3-1-2....i just want 3 points, we have to make a 5 game winning streak, so we can close the gap between us and lazio who are currently sitting on 3rd position

For a 4-2-3-1 you need a destroyer and a B2B or a playmaker. Kuz has been OK under Mancini and he can be our B2B midfielder. Trust me, I don't want to see Kuz in our line up but currently he is much better than M'Vila.

M'Vila used to be good, but not anymore but now he is just a scarecrow standing there doing nothing.

M'Vila has defeinitely lost weight from when he first joined and looks more mobile. I was hard on him at the start for his weight but he has lost some. Most players his size who aren't playing semi-regularly would take a bit to get looking sharp again.

Regardless of M'Vila's fitness, he is clearly a better passer than Guarin and far better awareness and positioning than all our other DM/CMs combined. Being a good DM isnt a function of pace or whatever

What are you basing this on?!? M'Vila has had few chances this season for some reason, but when he's played he's looked assured. CDM isn't a position you stand out in unless you're literally top 5 in the world in that position - it's about doing the doing the dirty work and making sensible decisions. Maybe Mancini is seeing him be shit and unfit in training, in which case I'll trust his judgement, but I want to see much more of him before I make a judgement for myself.
