Good autopsy on yesterday's match. The injuries are piling up, and the primary backups aren't even close as an adequate substitutes. Lack of pace is a major problem. As the cliche says " speed makes up for a lot of mistakes". Mental fragility is becoming an issue again with Barella being particularly noticeable. Stuck with this group until the summer before any major upgrades are possible.

Pretty much agreed with the points made about the game and Inzaghi not doing good enough in bigger games.

I do need to emphasize that we played without Acerbi, Pavard, Thuram and also Hakan got injured midgame. Not to give excuses, but knowing that, we never really stood a chance.

Conceding goals in the last 15 minutes is the bane of our existence this season. This needs to be fixed.

The big positive is that we played badly but still scored 2 goals. But that's about it. 442 marked Dimarco out of the game except for that one amazing shot he had.

Encapsulated the Venezia match nicely. No change in the winter mercato, Frattesi probably leave in the summer but the replacement better be at least as good or a better fit. Oaktree better understand how football works, there are no draft picks. Youth is fine but they better be at least of rated of "moderate talent " coming in with some pace. Given those attributes you are still going to have to pay " uncomfortable levels" salary wise. Moreover, Inter needs a central defender, another forward and probably a vice Dimarco or Dumfries. Why the hell don't Inter play Palacio, Martinez and Buchanan in the Coppa? That tournament is not that economically enticing at all. Bologna will be tough expecting a draw, with them scoring late.

A lot can be said of Martinez, Palacio and Buchanan. But I still maintain letting go of Agoumé was our biggest mistake.

I don’t remember Agoumé having a poor misplay, let alone a poor game.

Watch my boy cook, and weep.

We had him at Inter and then we chose to bring and play fucking Klaassen. Not a quality veteran, a trash veteran who has only done well in Eredivisie. For 6 months they were both at Inter and Agoume was ignored by the coach over Klaassen. Agoume couldn't have had a poor display because he was never given a chance in the first place. And the blame is solely on Inzaghi, who's simply allergic in playing youngsters. He only does it as a last resort. Bisseck played only because all his other options for rcb got injured. Else he would have left on loan and would have been deemed not good enough. We saw Inzaghi playing Dimarco as lcm the other day in order to avoid playing a primavera kid.

Management can't do much if the coach simply refuses to use a player.

Oaktree and Inzaghi are a very odd match that i can't see co-exist for long unless one of them adjusts.

Very nice doom laden Bologna recap along with the Inter transfer market concerns. One thing though both Taremi and Zielinski seemed to be savvy moves, but really haven't delivered so far. Start the best eleven vs Sparta Praha. Asllani will get another test so hopefully he does well. Probably a ugly display with a 1-2 Inter win, of course they score late.

Is Sterling still on FIF?

I went to tag him in a comment about you guys having zero faith in the Asllani of the podcast, but nothing came up…

Edit: Never mind, my idiot dyslexic brain always thought he was “the” dude

Even The dude is not the dude anymore. He's @Jane The Virgin now.
