IMO, Klassen will get Gags' spot, a few minutes here and there, since Sanchez is back as well.

You guys have quickly become my favorite Inter related podcast. Maybe I’m biased cause it feels like I already know you from your forum contributions. However I feel like the thoughts shared are spot on.

Specifically @Universe talking about the DM stuff in this episode. You guys know how I feel about that. To the point I hope we keep Agoume and give him a chance.

I also agreed about the comments made about Mourinho playing a back 3. The players aren’t the problem there. It’s his inability to set up the team to attack in a cohesive manner.

Good stuff.

The only objection I’ve had so far was ranking the Lukaku/Dybala saga as our 2nd worst transfer. In hindsight, I’m actually glad how it transpired.

We made a CL final with Lukaku and cashed in on revenue which came with it. However more economical the Dybala transfer would seem in a vacuum, I doubt the stars align to take get us to the final with Dybala.

I expect the entirety of Ep.7 to be an apology to address my hurt feelings.

Great episode, guys.

@Universe hit the nail on the head regarding Mikhy. Do people crying about Mikhi starting over Fratessi not watch our game? Mikhi has been integral for our midfield to bring the ball forward. If he hadn't been injured, the outcome against Man City  might have been different in terms of quick distribution of the ball to the front. This is not Conte starting gags over Eriksen, Mikhi will get dethrone when he plays like shit and Fratessi proves himself. And it's only been 2 fucking games.

Our next episode is going to be a comprehensive mercato breakdown. Open to answering any questions from you all, or I'll read out some members' mercato grades on the pod if you put together a concise couple sentences.

I would give the Mercato a 7.5/10.

Management was able to deliver a competitive squad again despite our financial constraints. We have 2 legitimate options for every position and essentially removed all the non-contributors. The biggest win of the mercato was signing Pavard. The biggest loss was losing Skriniar for zero.

Side note. I think the new signings that aren’t already starting are going to have a tough time breaking into the line up. Even Pavard. Once Inzaghi finds something that works he is very reluctant to stray from that, and it’s hard to say the line up isn’t working after 8 goals scored and 0 conceded to start the season.

It is clear Pavard doesn't have the experience to start before reaching 32 years. We are sending him on a 3 year loan to Frosinone.

I did not follow as deeply as previously. The football landscape has slowly eroded my interest in the game. Even now, after getting to a champions league final we find ourselves in a position where that short term success pales in comparison to the fact our finances are wrecked with no end in sight. Still no stadium. Serie A as a league is becoming more and more irrelevant. I question how some of the old heads around here keep their motivation and interest high. How does everyone stay passionate about a club playing in a dying league. In a situation where we still aren't able to be financially viable without a stadium which isn't any closer to being built. What happens on the pitch is secondary to the club and league's ability to make more money. I can't get my head past that. I did enjoy watching our run in the CL though. Brought back some fond memories.
By living in a moment:

And every win is some kind of fix and you want more next matchday and more and more...

Everything else is just in the background.

That's why I hate summer mercato and can't stand all the news, just want season to start again to not think about anything else but games.
