That actually makes the kit like 10x cooler but that's only about 1x as cool as a regular jersey.

As expected, our 3rd jersey has a dark blue / grey color for the player names and numbers. But it has a different font to the home and away kits which is quite odd. For consistency's sake, you normally wouldn't do that but in this case I'll support the exception because I think the font for our 3rd kit is far better than that weird lightning shit we have for the home and away.

I think thats the font for all the Nike 3rd kits like ours.

After seeing it today its actually grown on me. Might buy it.

^ The font is nice. I think the dark blue/grey font goes well with the off-white/light grey colour of the shirt. If you look closely, there's also a shiny silver lining on the outline of numbers which looks really nice.

I also really like the yellow strip down the center of the back.

However, I still think the front of the shirt is a mess.

Look at it from this angle: broad Nike template > Nike third kit template > Inter 3rd kit

The broad Nike template is the raglan shirt. Here's our home jersey.

jaxlvq.jpg

As you can see I've marked the defining features of the template of the broad Nike template for this year. 1 refers to the separation of the center of the shirt and the sleeves. All the stripes or patterns fall within the center of the shirt and don't extend to the shoulders. 2 is the solid colour shoulders. 3 is the little strip down the center of the back. And 4 is the subtle dot pattern running down the shoulder/sleeves. (you can't see it very well on our home jersey, but it's more noticeable on our 3rd)

I actually like this broad template a lot. I like having the shoulders in full black as it draws more focus to the center of the shirt. I like the strip down the back (looks especially good on our away and third kit). And I like the subtle dot pattern on the shoulders.

Within that concept though, is a sub-concept if you will, for Nike's 3rd kits. Seems like this year, their concept is a map of the city. I think this is risky to say the least. For us though, in addition to the map concept, they've also added BOTH the cross concept, AND the fucking marble concept. The end result IMO is simply way too much. If they'd just picked ONE fucking concept, the map or the cross or the marble, it would've been far better than this combination of all 3. Even if they just took the Pirelli logo, made it the same color as the Nike logo, made it small and put it to the side, like in 07/08, it would've been much more neat. But I have honestly nothing good to say about the front of that 3rd shirt. The back? Love it. The front is number one bullshit though.

Apparently Nike will release a special 20 years anniversary of sponsorship jersey for us. Gonna be interesting.

Seeing their last masterpieces I shouldn't be optimistic.

Kind of an overreaction. We're like 3 games in.

It's not really an overreaction.

We have not played any of the leading protagonists in Serie A and only have have four points from four games. It does not matter how you look at it, that is a pretty shit return. If we can not manage against the likes of Sassuolo and Parma then how can we expect to compete against the likes of Juventus, Napoli and Lazio?

Last year we draw against Spal but still won against Milan,Lazio,Roma..so this means not much.

Last year we appeared to have more of an idea and structure than what we have at the beginning of this season.

Personally, I do not think our performances to date are the simple matter of a slow start to the season.

From the way we have played, with a total lack of continuity, creativity, sharpness, and finishing, the squad looks ill prepared for the games they have played thus far.

Think it's a problem due to injuries and players coming back late from the World Cup and plus trying to work with the new signings.

Hello guys, sorry for the off topic, but I need your help. I bought an used Inter home shirt from 2010/11, and the guy who sold it to me said that it is genuine, but I would like if someone who already owns one can compare it and confirm that it is a genuine one or fake. It looks very good to me and I think that it is genuine. Images of my shirt are in the google album that you can visit on the url bellow. Appreciate your help

Parma had 7 new players in their starting line up against us, and half of them are literally Serie B players. Their coach has never managed in Serie A in his life.

We had only 3 new players on our own ground. Only 3 players played in the world cup with one of them playing only 80 minutes.

Just compared it to mine. Looks pretty good. On your pics the blue might be a little lighter, but that is probably due to the lighting. I'd say its genuine :)

The problem is that, when we into our blackout phase last year, we had been so good through the first 15-16 games that we had a margin for error to dip into. And we used every single bit of that margin for error; I don't need to explain the math there.

This season, no, our early season blackout hasn't been as long a period as last year's was, but in any case we're still putting ourselves behind the 8-ball here. We're thankful that Roma too has been piss in these early days, but if we're going to finish top-4 again this season we have to get our act together right about now. If we find ourselves in a hole, that can have a way of manifesting itself in ways we don't want to see.

So the third kit is already sold out, only size S is available. Is this typically an Italian thing? Samething happened to Parma and their nostalgic shirt, promote new shirts etc and a few days later they are all sold out.

We had only 3 new players on our own ground. Only 3 players played in the world cup with one of them playing only 80 minutes.

We had Perisic and Brozovic on the pitch, they played the whole World Cup.

We had Nainggolan and Icardi not at a 100% who have had little time together on the pitch, D'Ambrosio was injured during the game, Vrsaljko is out.

My point was about the reasons why we played badly, Parma didn't do anything they just defended and exploited the space we left because we were frustrated and they scored an offside goal.

But hey, it's all bad and Parma who probably had more time with the team for preseason are better than us is that what you want me to say?
