That away kit was just as bad I expected it to be. These faux collars are hot garbage. Either wrap the collar all the way around, or don't bother. It just looks like random black and gold stripes with no starting point and it creates a horrible aesthetic. I would never wear a shirt like that.

The collar and cuffs of that 3rd kit look clumsy. I'm sure there's a better way of making the shirt work with: black background (with subtle grey details), yellow logos and red/yellow boxed Pirelli logo.

In a fucked up way I actually kinda like it now. Could have been executed way better but I like the colour scheme and dont mind the sleeve/collars.

Rumour is that the third kit is going to be launched on September 8, so in 4 days time and on the same day as the Monza F1 GP. Might be true seeing as we are using the F1 style Pirelli logo on the kit and the third kit collection is also Pirelli/racing inspired.

Sponsorships are one thing but this feels like our 3rd kit is merely promotional material for Pirelli. That doesn’t sit well with me. Mainly because the kit itself looks like trash but also because Tronchetti Provera isn’t paying us nearly enough for this shit.

I’ll also go one step beyond yours to say that in no way at all should there every be a club jersey (at any club) which has been dominated in design by the sponsors.


However, and I’m contradicting myself here, I’d be in favour of it if Pirelli puts our alternative logo on all of their tyres so it stands out, but that’s the only exception I’d be willing to make!

Think we’ll see our badge on F1 tyres this season....?

New leaks. More or less official.

These pics look better with less harsh lighting. The darker the shirt and the subtler those grey patterns, the cleaner it looks. Still pretty boring though. And as mentioned, looks more like something worn at an F1 event than on a football pitch.

Will need to see the full kit but I assume the shorts will be black and the socks black w yellow trims.
