You compare this side to fucking Arsenal who's only player that comes close to being mentioned around world class players is a Real Madrid reject in Martin Odegaard, who wasn't even impressive at Real Sociedad and a 37 year old David Silva is having better performances there?

No one claims Inzaghi is a world class coach but it's quite an unfavorable situation to be in when Allegri gets a goal from the ref so he can just defend the lead for the rest of the game. That's their modus operandi and it's fine but getting that goal from the ref is just too much.

Inzaghi made mistakes throughout the journey (during the match) but he was given a tough task to begin with. Unfair situation to be in.

This is a wrong approach imo. Performance and officiating are two different topics. Performance was disgraceful. But we still deserved to get a fair treatment from ref. Rube's goal should have never counted.

Exactly. It changed the game a lot because Juve works that way. When they lead, specially in these big games, they will just close the shop. They are honestly masters at defending a lead when that's their primary task.

But two things can be true at the same time. Inzaghi clearly doesn't have the ideas to change our game anymore. It's just about players doing whatever they can in our attack. And when we have a compact, organized defence like Juve have, it's just so hard. So it ends up being a cross fest because we don't have that spark of creativity to penetrate the defence.
