Biggest issue with our defense is lack of pressure from the midfield. The Vlahovic goal starts from no pressure on Cabal from Barella or the strikers.

Then it compounds itself by De Vrij and Bastoni being caught in a rotation. De Vrij was at LCB spot and Bastoni at CCB spot in the build up prior to turning the ball over and never swapped back. I think that’s where the confusion comes from regarding who should track McKennie.

Zielinski was great as penalty taker, but registra is not his position. Thuram is great once again. Bastoni as well.
Inzaghi needs to take notes about Concencao. Jube created chances only through him. If we isolate him, we should hold the lead.

Of course not. They gave him Palacios just for the sake of signing someone. My point was we don't really know Cabal would have got playing time at Inter. Maybe now that Augusto is injured but it's still up to anyone guess.

Sure we never know but what I will say is he has Serie A experience and I think that matters a lot to Inzaghi.

The game is too chaotic, the result is not secure. Defensively we're too lopsided. They got 2 goals bc our defending was awful. 3 goals in this match because of lost balls in midfield. We have to make sure not lose those in the 2nd half.

When we get those midfield oppurtunities we have to put them away. At least 1 more. Conceicao/cabal/mcennie are real problems. We need to deal with them otherwise it's a bad time.

We rotated heavily so we can’t say too much. They had to play basically the same team because of their injury crises.

We just really miss Hakan. Also De Vrij isn’t built for these game.
