I rewatched the second half and as soon as Sarri made the double sub around the 60th minute we came back into the game again (after vanishing from it from the 30th/ sensi’s injury.

If I’m being completely honest I never expected us to win the game prior to it starting as I think we are still in our infancy with conte but what I seen in the first 30 mins and last 30 mins gives me hope that we’ll do well this year*

*conditional on conte giving lukaku a lobotomy, some reinforcements in jan and not afraid to continue giving the younger players a shot.

This is the first game in a long time where I honestly can say thatnJuventus beat us fair and square. No luck factor, no ref factor, no weird own goal attempts, nothing. We just lost. And could have lost by even more. Don't remember us ever being so toothless against them and we've had some seriously crappy teams.

Got to admit that the only thing that I liked about this game was that Rocchi was excellent.
And the beer I was overdrinking with watching this pathetic performance was quite good too.

In no mood whatsoever to comment on lineups, subs, formations and fucking Lukaku being an Inter player.

Just remember that we spent 300m to watch this thing and we're going backwards.

backwards?

so are you going on record as predicting inter to fall out of top 4?

The pessimism needs to stop. Seriously.

What did everyone expect? To win every single game? To win juve and Barca and lose to Parma and Spal?

We lost an avoidable losing game. Yes, they had more chances (kinda), but so did we against Barca, and it didn't go out way.

I cant wait to see the full team training session after the international break is done. Honestly, can't wait to see our team bounce back. Because we will, we have everything to do so.

As much as I don't like Vecino, he wasn't the main problem. The main problem is us not having a DM or a physical presence in the midfield. Also, very very naive first goal, even dybala was surprised that it went in.

Also also, stop saying shit like "we are not ready for success"... Wtf does that even mean? Like our players legs stop moving once we have a lead? Our players start feeling depressed once we score goals? Stop trying to sound like poets.

It's a loss, kinda deserved one.

Lukaku is the main fucker of the game. And I have a feeling he will be for most of our lost points. Not clinical enough. If Mauro needed 0.3 chance to score, Lukaku needs 7/8 good solid chances to score a goal. Big mistake from Conte for pushing for him honestly. We would have been much better with SMS in our team and a random physical attacker from serie a in the team. I'm saying this because we're creating chances and scoring goals regardless of Lukaku, and he just ... Well, kinda stalls the team, way too often...

We need someone in front of the defenders, because once quick players start to pass around, our big tall defenders' speed, or lack of speed, comes to light.

amen!

the posters on this boards are such drama queen morons

only bit i dont agree with you on is lukaku, yes he cost us big time with poor passing but personally i find him getting more physical and athletic with every game and feel it will click into place soon for him

It seems that Lukaku isn't that useless, but he still needs to be better in front of the goal. This game was lost in the midfield. They marked us well and the only one who could do something about it was injured and replaced with Vecino.

interesting video. As i said and many times got said here, it was a total diffrent game with Sensi. It's incredibile how shitty we played when Vecino came in. Really dissapointing, at last a draw was possible. We played at their same level. Even after Dybalas goal, it was a wonderfull game from both teams, really entertaining too. Fuck that..... we are unlucky.

There's nothing worse than a loss in the Derby d'Italia before the international break, but there's indeed no need to be overdramatic and I want to take a moment to be optimistic, looking at the bright side despite everything.

Jnter-Juventus was a cruel remainder of the gap that separates us from the Bianconeri, a gap we could estimate in three or four players. Unfortunately, Higuain will be their blessing in disguise and a major factor in the CL knockout stage (until the final, when Cristiano will get all the Triplete honors).

The mad but smart grape harvester who is Luciano Spalletti has all the rights to remain in our books and Totò Gabillaci hasn't scored a single goal in the last three games for Flamengo: unfortunately, I think we can already wave goodbye to the big midfielder in January.

Our former coach and Normalizer Pioli will soon go through another 7-games winning streak with the Rossoneri and have a close look at the top 4: unfortunately, he learnt the lesson and there won't be any fatal Crotone-Milan 2-1 this time.
Credit to Paolo and Zvone for insisting on another interista after il Maestro Giampaolo and ignoring the distasteful #pioliout hashtag which is trending wolrdwide on social media: "The Normal One" was the last coach to give Milan fans some joy in the Derby della Madonnina and deserves a much better welcome.

The point is, Winter is coming with all its ghosts (Sandrino Mazzola reminded us that we can't rely 100% on Conte because he's “gobbo inside”, foreshadowing a rejection crisis) and Spring could come with Europa League and more fatigue: just in case, let's grab 22 more points* and reach the virtual relegation safety mark as soon as possible, ideally before March/April.

Only then we'll see - if another European final against Salzburg is possible with a bit of luck, 26 years (and a Red Bull) later. I assume Giampiero Marini is still available to replace Conte, inject some raw interism in the team, be the traditional “ferryman” until the summer and raise another trophy in the process. Forza.

[*22 points starting from Inter-Parma, since Sassuolo is our bogey team and Dimarco is back home, with us.]

im the only one who thinks that the first half was like the good old derby di italia? 2 teams playing entertaining football for the first place. Or also that fight in the tunnel after the first half.. i missed such games tbh. You saw how both teams wanted at all cost to win. It was diffrent from other games...(till the second half of course)

That's it. Too much drama. We lost, they were better, get over it and move on.

Did you see how Juventus players were happy when they won?
That is called respect.

fucking FIGC still delegating juBe`s favoured refs

oooh good will I have to watch us play against the refs again?!

guess who is gonna ref it...

top Rube lieutenant
Could someone please explain how this is not a penalty? Fucking disgrace.

2:38

I mean of course it`s Rocchi, but still, isn`t this obvious enough?! :chan: of course they are not getting away with these in Europe, I still fondly remember how Benatia fouled in the finals and ref blew it.
Also, apart from Rocchi officiating, we've got fucking Irrati on VAR.
Ah, I guess this explains it. Well done FIGC, well done.

I want bastoni for this one, especially because Godin may not be able anymore to give his best in the second match in a week. If conte believes in our young and very promising defender, there is no better occasion to show it.
Unfortunately Bastoni failed to prevent Higuain from scoring the winner...

Don't usually care about the video but all I'm thinking now is how we lead this game then lose focus and end up losing and hey presto we already have a video out to be mocked about. No need.
