Apparently there was a draw for this and i didn't see anyone make a single post about it anywhere here.

Last four times we've played Lazio we've won but the time before that we lost in the coppa where they went on to lose to Juve in the Final.

Odds at the time of writing are; Inter - 1.95, Draw - 3.50, Lazio - 3.75.

Would be pretty Inter-like to draw against Sassuolo, lose to Torino and then hand Lazio another 3-0 battering. I think Spalletti and the management see the Coppa Italia as a pretty feasible target this year, so we'll probably see some rotation against Torino to put our "best side" yao out against this lot. I imagine it'll be something like:

Joao Mario-Brozovic-Nainggolan
Asamoah-De Vrij-Skriniar-Vrsaljko
Handanovic

I think Candreva, Gagliardini, Lautaro, and Dalbert will play against Torino so it'll be a fairly well rested team. Kind of expecting a loss anyway though, courtesy of an SMS 30 yard screamer just to drive his price up again.

Was going to say that we should sack Spalletti if we lose this game (and get eliminated from another competition, at home again no less.) But then I thought that we should stick with him until the end of the season, hope to Christ we make top 4, and make any changes then. Then I thought about who we would even change Spalletti with at the seasons end, much less midway through the season. Then I thought about other teams, past and present, who have made managerial changes mid-season and finished the season strongly. Then I decided I don't give a shit and that each question leads to more questions most of which have no answer except fuck you, Spalletti and fuck these players as well.

As thatdude said, there is a fucking cancer in this club. It fills me with shame to acknowledge and reiterate that an obscene amount of coaches and players have come and go and the only constant in their failures is this club. We haven't exactly helped ourselves either with our scouting of personnel but there is no escaping that fact.

For example, Ansaldi was useless here. But last night he was played out of position as a fucking CM and played far better than anyone in our midfield department filled with players like Mario, Nainggolan, Vecino and Gagliardini whom we purchased for €45m, €24m (+ Santon/Zaniolo), €25m and €28m. It defies any kind of science or reason.

I wouldn't be surprised if we found out there was a gas leak in Appiano or something which turned everyone within the immediate radius into spastics.

Here's a rather unpopular opinion that is always met with high disdain - I would place Skriniar next to Brozo in the pivot for this match. He had couple of nice offensive runs against Torino, he even dribbled and got passed a player or two only to fuck up the final pass, which isn't suprising given how terrible our midfielders are at escaping their markers and opening up to receive the ball. He also had couple of nice long ball Brozo-like passes. I'd restrict him with instructions to just roam around Brozo and make things easy for him for once. I really do not want to see Dalbert and DDA as wingbacks again, but the question that imposes itself is whether Dambrosio would do better than Asamoah on the LB spot due to decent performances lately.

Please stop this. Skriniar in midfield is awfully clumsy. Why this idea keeps popping up? Because he hasn't played there for us yet. Once he plays, it will be "never again" moment for everyone.

Can't be worse than Vecino and Gagliardini even if he tried. Literally.
I acknowledge his clumsiness and know exactly what you mean by it, that vapor lock that occurs by him being too fixated visually onto an opponent and the ball, but just imagine how many attacking chances we could get by his abilities to steal the ball in midfield, without even letting it get to our third of the pitch.

What do I know, he might flop, but it doesn't hurt to try because we still get to have a solid backline of defenders with him out of position. Hell, I'd gladly let even fucking Ranocchia babysit Brozo if it meant that I wouldn't have to endure that fraud Vecino anymore.

I know that youtube videos aren't a viable argument, but Skriniar can also shoot, he just never gets the chance to try.
