Another hard game. Livorno is playing great this season and it would be hard to beat tham. I predict close win for us. 1-0, or maybe 2-1. But we must win, so that we play vs. Milan with high morale.

I'm going to enjoy this one because Figo won't start. He will be saved for the derby so he has enough power to make those stupid runs ending with either collision or pisspoor weak shot.

By the way and before some people start their imagining that we will run riots against Livorno I have to say that before the match starts Livorno is behind us by 3 points and they have every right to do well and pull off a surprise on Wednesday.

You have to accept that we're playing in Serie A not in FM2007 or PES6 where you can run riots in those kind of matches. Expect a tough opponent on Wednesday.

Maybe this is the chance to put Recoba behind a strikers and see how will that work, olso Ibra was rested a lot this weaks(suspension) so he can play with Cruz in atack.

I think N813 is spot on. Livorno is not going to be a walk over by any means. They have been doing really well this season and are going to create a few problems for us. Their defence is their strong suit and in Amelia they have a goalie that at times can be abslutely top class.

Keeping this in mind I do remember a dominanat Inter performance against them last season at a similar point in the season. Lets hope we can replicate the 5-0 drubbing and go into the derby full of confidence.

Cordoba is suspended? best time possible to use Burdisso in his natural role, whether with Samuel or IMO with Materazzi as they should be the starting two centre backs, although it is a little harsh as Cordoba has done better recently.

Also, I'd rather Maxwell be used than Gonzalez, the new Cesar.

I agree with Catanha in every point of his post. Gonzales is starting to be the new Cesar... I tought he was better than he is showing in Inter. And I also think about the attack, just maybe Recoba - Cruz would be better, coz Crespo is still not fit enough, and he will be needed for the derbie. Maybe one half will be enough for him...

Are you suggesting we get the same players to play against udinese, livorno, milan and spartak in 10 days?

As far as I can remember, we have a pretty good record against Livorno. Over the last 4 Serie A games, we have drawn once but won twice. They have not scored against us on that same span but we have put 8 goals past them.
