So we are missing both the starting wingbacks (Hakimi & Young) as well as 2 of our 3 starting CBs (Skriniar & Bastoni)? That can disrupt any team. And now I also fear how many others will soon test positive if there is an outbreak at Inter. This is fast becoming a magic 8 ball kinda season.

Its ridiculous that UEFA (& FIGC) expect clubs to play even with such an handicap. It would have been so much better if UEFA had cancelled all these useless international breaks for this season, which would not only reduce the spread of COVID but also provide extra time to schedule any games postponed due to COVID. IMO if any club has more than 3 players out due to COVID, they should have the option to postpone.

The same thing applied after the break in the previous season but we didn't mind it since we had no cases.

Obviously cases were less common during the summer than in autumn, but the idea is the same. Both seasons have asterisks, this one may last its entire duration this way.
