I see nothing weird or stupid in that interview. Solid answers all around. Overall, this hate towards Mancini is so weird. After Mourinho we haven't had any direction whatsoever. Now we have a coach who knows what kind of players he wants and what kind of football he wants us to play. I see Mancini as pragmatic and sound coach who can grind the results for us. Personally I believe we will be in the top three this season. Those who disagree should at least give him a chance.

Oh, and I would prefer Medel over Ranocchia. Rano lacks playing time and probably also confidence at this point. I have a feeling Bacca would destroy him right now.

I think Medel aS CB for us would be disastrous. Yes, he plays as CB with Chile but in a three-man defense. Three-man defense line is totally different than the four-man defense. Remember how Juan was doing fine under Mazzari and then turned to shit the minute Mancini arrived?

Buttom line is, these two defensive lines are totally different and I wouldn't dare starting a player who is not familiar with the system in thatposition.
