Some interesting stats...

- Inter had the 2nd tallest side in Serie A last weekend (184cm average, only 0.6 less than Verona).
- If you replace Medel with Miranda, then we have the tallest side (185.4cm!)
- Inter won 80% of the ariel duels in the derby!
- Inter's shortest player (Medel) won the most ariel duels. So much for the "he is too short for CB" debate.

That's because Milan was trying to hoof the ball over him and they failed a lot of times (2 of their first attacks were actually just long balls over at Medel). Then they figured out its just easier to wait Medel to drift off position and play through balls.

That stat reminds me of Medel also being one of the top 5 passers in Europe

Then the other midfielders pass it back to him because we have no fucking gameplan. He is basically in the center hence why he gets the ball the most and passes the most.

No, but I think his ability is very under rated. He isn't great on the ball but people make it out like he's a Muntari with two right feet.
