I think that Cordoba is a must for this one...

we need his pace and experience,plus I think he's the ideal man to mark Pato..
In our 2 previous games against Milan,our defense was not convincing at all,we used Rivas,Burdisso,Materazzi and all of them failed...Cordoba hasn't played a derby against Milan since december 2007 and now needs to come back..
He might not have played well in our last matches but in comparison to Burdisso and Materazzi,I have far more trust in our colombian defender..

There's Gazzetta's prediction for the lineup,however I think the more reliable formations are the ones posted 2-3 hours before the game..

I owe Milan an apology because I really believed the whole Kaka thing was a sham to act smart... but would you blame me judging by your track record It's actually a shame he won't be playing, because if we win tonight I want it to be a 100% convincing victory with no excuses later saying "Oh but Kaka didn't play". Muntari, our best midfielder back then, wasn't playing in the first derby, and I didn't see any milanista giving a fuck about that, so I don't see why we should be mercyful over here.

Contrary to people's belief, I believe we really need to win this game. Not only for the Scudetto, as it seems that the good form of our closest rivals has gone away , but especially for the game against Man. Utd. That game is crucial, if we really want to be reconsidered as a european force, which hasn't happened since that semi-final with Milan in the Champions League.(almost 6 years ago) No matter how though the opponent might be, it's time for us to change our mentality, that has made us stumble in Europe for many years. At the beginning of each season, I always heard that we want the Scudetto and the Champions League, but our team rarely played as if it really believed that to be true. IMO, that is the only reason why we haven't won the title before Calciopoli for so many years, and were humiliated year after year in the Champions League. We really developed a complex in front of Bilan and Jube, something similar that Roma has in front of us, after their failures in the recent years(and that actually shows on the field). Our complex has not yet been completely healed. And that is why i believe that Mancini should have been sacked last year. Not necessary because he was a weak coach, but from the outside, he never made Inter look as the best team in Italy, even though we won the title 3 years in a row. Our rivals always said that we won only because their teams had been weakened by Calciopoli.
To some extent, I find that to be true. (of course Juve and Milan always forget that they cheated, and paid for that.) But this year, they had no excuse, as all teams began on relatively equal terms. This is the moment to show them we're the new dominant team in Italy. And what better way to do that than win the derby. A victory here would set a positive tone for the champions league clash, which is the key for our return among the great teams of Europe. In the end i really hope i don't see Burdisso and Muntari tonight, because they are players who are easily sent off, and we really need all our 11 eleven players tonight. Forza Ragazzi !
