It's just the way it works out.

Zanetti will track back to join the defense when Nagatomo is in an attacking position. Cuchu and Taider will be left in the midfield while Guarin is in the SS position with Naga and Jonathan on the flanks and Palacio up top.

I wish we would play a permanent 4-2-3-1 though.
