We played much better when Kova entered. Before that Palacio was isolated in the attack and we couldn't get the ball out of our half. We used to win the ball in our half and lose it as soon as we get it to Milan's half. Kova was that lost ring which later connected the rest of the team to the attack.

Now that we have Icardi back, Inter is back to the style of beginning of the season. Ugly first half, bring in attacking players in the second half and press.

Best player for me was Guarin. Didn't shoot, not that many misplaced passes and didn't lose the ball in critical places. Was every where, great in defense and attack. He was just amazing. Only if he could keep this form..

Thohir probably would think again before deciding to sell Guarin.

There should have been 3 red cards in this game. 1 for Guaro and 2 for Muntari/Zapata

I'm still fine with selling Guarin provided we have a replacement (suitable) lined up for him. He was very involved and he's stopping his shooting stuff, which means he's improving, but I wonder if we could replace him with someone like Nainggolan, and give more space to Kova.

Some quick thoughts,

There's no reason Nagatomo should have as many shots as Palacio.
Handa looked very shaky today.
Cambiasso saved us many times today
Guarin did a very good job impressing buyers, though I hope he stays. He did deserve a yellow or two he never got though.
Mazzarri seemed to want to wait till the last minute to score, as no one in their right mind would expect our starting XI to make a goal.


Also. Palacio. What a man. Got beat in pace a few times but really showed up in the last 10, and I'm confident he would have scored not only when he was fouled and not called in the box, but also the penalty he deserved!

Forza Inter and Forza Palacio! MOTM for me.

The adrenaline is finally wearing off so ill give a couple brief thoughts then im out this bitch.
1. Palacio is class. He is constantly performing brilliantly and even though there are times in matches where he looses the ball and struggles to find his feet, i am 100% sure this is simply because he is isolated. No one helps him, they just send through the ball and hope for the best. Mazzari needs to see this and see that with another Striker next to him, Palacio will excel and flourish even more. This is the most curious point for me for our team at the moment so i would love to discuss it with any of you!

2. The introduction of Kovacic changed the game but i do ask myself would have he been as dominant having started? Putting a player with the pace and technical skill of kovacic at that stage in the game against a fatigued side was the main reason he was able to control his passes at a rapid rate and run rings around the defenders, so it does baffle me whether or not mazzari is making the right call by keeping kovacic on the bench until that time.

3. Zanetti and cucho need to go. They are just to fucking slow, bless them for everything they've done but i saw someone quote "You either die a hero or live long enough to become the villian" and that is what is happening here!
