Its not frightening. We are not ManCity or Bayern. We are just a solid team and thats it.

Dont agree Juve have money while we need to beg for coins from zhang.
mr nadzington words something so cringe, but.... this one describe clearly into a point, Agnelli could feeding juve with some funds every time he wants, in contrast to zhang suning still reluctant to feed Inter continuously....

Before the match Nesta said that, as a former a defender, he would prefer to face Inter's strikers over Milan's a thousand times.

We didnt make as many chances as we did in the other matches, but still we lacked sharpness in front of goal when the opportuties arrived and our shots went straight at the GK. Maybe that's one of the reasons we had a poor record against top teams so far, because against bigger teams we cannot be as wasteful as the other matches and still come out as winners. Milan barely made chances against us and yet scored 1 more goal than us and won the match.

Its not that we Lost the derby, but how we Lost the derby.
Go into a melt down because of 30 minutes of bad play is ridiculous. This team deserves more faith then that after winning the scudetto last season.
Interisti seem to me to be looking for any reason to doubt Inter.

In a general sense I agree with you, but incidentally, you're not replying to an Interista.

Just ignore the troll.

I’m calm…. I’m pissed but won’t over dramatize it.
I’ll wait to to see how we do against Napoli.

We were in control and they found that 1st goal out of nowhere…. It’s our fault that we sat back (same scenario like against lazio and RuBe) we made those changes that fucked us specially the Hakan sub.

The loss was not good, but having a strategy of playing " not to lose" in the 2nd half was really ill advised thus, the result.

I am still really pissed about how we lost the Derby yesterday.

With 15 minutes left and us cruising at 1-0, I started doing the calculations to see how many points we would be clear with a game in hand and then it all came crashing down in the most pathetic manner.

When I think about the Derby loss there are three things that I cannot shake:

(1) We gifted it to Milan with a nice black and red ribbon to go with the three points.

(2) Giroud's mockery and the face he made when he celebrated;

(3) Theo Hernandez and how much he got away with throughout the match.

Regarding (2), the commentators were singing Giroud's praises for his special performance when it was obvious our players dropped the ball and made Giroud look fantastic.

Regarding (3), he should have been sent off with the elbow on Barella. And there was also a studs up tackle on Dumfries that should have been a red.

It absolutely disgusts me that I have the images of each player seared into my memory when I think about the game.

I will try and make a decent post about the game but sitting in the stands means your emotions take a run with you when watching the game. So it could easily be that I say thing which aren't true but this are just my observations:

First 10 minutes we started to slow imo. De Vrij had troubles with Giroud right from the start and the first 10 minutes Barella and Brozovic called De Vrij several times out (not in a nice way) for not defending Giroud good enough. Even Skriniar told him to mark Giroud tighter in a way you feel they had agreed something before the match and De Vrij didn't comply. After that we were in control and we should have scored 2/3 goals, that chance of Dumfries...My god how can you miss it?

I didn't like the fact that Dzeko was often drifted out wide to the right side where he tried to outsprint Theo and we all know what will happen if he tries that. Imo he should have stayed in the centre to help Lautaro and bully Romagnoli ( with a yellow card already) and Kalulu. Put those guys under pressure and they will make mistakes. Dzeko was gassed out after the first half and still tried to sprint passed defenders. How in the hell are you this old and still be delusional about your ability to f*ckin sprint?

Second half we gave everything away by giving Milan control and let them come at us. Don't know if this was because Inzaghi told our guys to do that but imo Milan wasn't that great that they pulled it off them self. It was clearly our game plan in the second half. Well with a striker like Giroud and this attitude of Inter you know you will get in trouble. Milan knew De Vrij had to much trouble handling Giroud so they made good use of that. Inzaghi should have subbed out De Vrij and placed Skriniar in the centre and played D'Ambrosio who will drift forward more instead of Skriniar holding back ( and it wasn't his best game on the ball).

After our subs we completely gave away the match. In every f*ckin aspect we were poor the second half. And here Inzaghi got it all wrong imo. If you make a sub it should have the chance to impact positively on the match. We all knew right from the start we were f*cked. Why sub Lautaro and not Dzeko? Why sub out Perisic and Hakan? Hakan probably because he got yellow? So f*ckin what, he is an experienced player who can handle himself. Perisic was great so I can only understand the sub if he was injured.

Subbing Brozovic and Bastoni was mental for me. How in the hell you are going to play a midfield with Vidal Barella and Vecino? The f*ck is wrong with you? We gave it away in the second half and it is all on us. We didn't played football the second half. The thing that irritated me the most was the irritation between the players even before the 1-1. They were constantly shouting at each other and making arm gestures etc. You could tell and feel the tension at Inter side as the match progressed, they felt more frustrated by the minute.

And then we have to talk about the referee. How in the hell can this guy be responsible for this game? He was so f*ckin bad in general, had so many missed calls or just plain errors that it seems that he had lost the plot. This guy shouldn't be referee at games like this, it's a shame that normally in the big games in Italy the referee gets talked the most about because they are so f*ckin bad. It's a shame for this beautiful competition.

But we have only ourself the blame for this one. Don't making you chances will always fuck you up and our depth is minimum. Every time we make a sub we become weaker and never stronger (especially against good teams). This will bite our in the ass in the long run I'm afraid. If Barella/Brozovic/Hakan or Lautaro gets injured we are f*cked. So in hindsight the loan of Sensi will haunt us till the end of the season I'm sure. Especially when you just realized that the played 90 min for Sampdoria and at Inter he didn't get more than 10 minutes? It's a shame.

I was very mad about the loss, but we deserved it. All our recent success got to our heads, and we weren't playing well after the Christmas break.

Our strikers are toothless, i am especially disappointed in Lautaro.
I thought letting Sensi go was a big mistake, which was confirmed to me yesterday. I have no idea why all the hesitance to play him while fit, when the alternatives are fucking Vecino and Gags, who are ridiculous.

This is a wake up call, i really hope Inzaghi doesn't choke and we manage to snatch another title, since it's been in our hands the whole time.

I am more afraid of Juventus, than i am of Milan, tbh. We NEED to wake up and respond by winning against Napoli, which will be very hard, considering our recent games.

This post is for laugh/gags, don't take it seriously:

Our coach knew from the very beginning even before the match that the reff corps looked for something to apologize to Milan after that Spezia match and there is no bigger stage than this derby match.
And then it is proven in the match (Nicolo - Theo incident, Alexis incident that lead to first goal), so he decided to protect his best players before reff f**k them further (Sub Ivan, Hakan, Marcelo, Bastoni, Lautaro who actually could create several goal scoring chances that night). He knew Inter couldnt win in this match even worse Inter has to lose.
The reff also play it flawlessly by giving Theo red card in the end.

Next match everything will back to normal and we will start winning again. Hehe...

JK JK.

But i really hope we could get positive result next matches...

Our issue is not starting line up, but the subs.
Even referee doing something like that, i am sure we will lose when Dimarco and Vidal coming.
If Perisic and Calhanoglu still on the pitch, there is no chance we lost. I am sure .

Throwing them against Messias and Brahim Diaz seems like suicide move of course.

The same thing happened to us in first game, luckily it ended as draw(remeber they hit post at very end so they could win that game also)so Inzaghi obviously didnt learn anything from that. He will continue to make subs all the time, but the problem is whoever(except maybe Sanchez) he brings in- that guy is totally downgrade to guy he subbed. No depth in this team will fuck us big time. I said it was big mistake to loan Sensi while keeping Vecino and Gags, and thats on Inzaghi. He didnt give Sensi a fkn chance, guy is fit almost two months. Vidal is finished. If one of our starting midfield player(except Perisic when Gosens is fit) is missing we are fucked.Simple as that.

Inzaghi will not learn shit. He always made horrible subs in Lazio for 3-4 years, subbing of his best players, playing defense and trying to win.

This "the sky is falling" from Interisti is just pathetic.
We lost a derby, shit happens.
We are still in a decent position.

I'm on the same page here.

Two days after the game my conclusion is that we underestimated Milan that night. They were missing key players, they did nothing in the first half, we we far more superior for the first 45 minutes and one goal was the least we could score. Even in the second half until that Giroud goal, they were not a threat. Then that shocking 2nd goal and everything was over. The whole team should take note from that behaviour but let's not act as if Milan smashed us.
