some nuggets from red and black forum:

Half time:

Wow this is the worse milan i have seen. Absolutely nothing. Pioli needs to go tonight whatever happens. We are bejng spanked football wise. We will be destroyed in the chl. Maldini needs to fire this. The players have lost all confidence and no formation change will now solve it. Nothing but pioli leaving.

Pioli really fucked the formation. I still don't get the ultra park the bus low block but then have OG and Origi upfront. We got into their box like... once? And have no players who can really create anything. Leao can, and has the pace to back it up. CDK or Rebic at least offer movement.

we are quite likely the most painful and clueless team to watch in top 5 european leagues at the moment.

I celebrate every time we see Onana on the screen Pioli what did we do to deserve this?

We have 20% possession and 0 shots. And Pioli will be the only one surprised..
This!!! You should be extremely stupid to hope different conclusion. We totally deserved last years championship but for pioli I think it was pure luck. He just had 1 game plan and it worked whenever it collapsed he is like a 5 year old girl who never watched football before

I watched the replay a coupe of times and still don't know who was supposed to track Lautaro.
tata

The question is: How did we get a scudetto with the same players? Our fall came with an unbelievable speed...

We definitely on the express train back to banter era

Thanks Cardinale
Thanks Maldini

Many thanks Pioli

This is a fucking disgrace.

A fucking disgrace!

I literally cant explain myself how could we fall so much...we were breaking scoring records avout year ago with nearly the same team

Heads should fall. I dont give a fuck if Im overreacting.

We can lose 5-2 to sasuolo and I'll be patient. But 0 shots and 20% possetion in 45min against fucking inter. Fuck off. No excuse and someone needs to tske responsibilitt

Even banter era we used to actually perform very well in the derbys against juve and inter. We mostly used to lose because of luck.

And here you have pioli making us their bitches while coaching a better team than the previous ones

The bald fraud needs to go.. and Now!!

First derby win in league for Inzaghi. We starts to win big matches this season but missed 5 points after break against beatable teams, to win some you lose some I guess.

If we have those points it would quite comfortable at 2nd and still have shot at Scudetto. No complain anyway.

This match definitely felt more like a Pioli loss than an Inzaghi win. I truly have no idea what Pioli was thinking. He trotted out a 3-5-2, seemingly with the idea of catching us on the counter. But he left the best counterattacking player in the league on the bench? We then proceeded to hammer them with a battering ram for 45 minutes, as expected. It was unfortunate that we only scored 1 goal when they were just begging us to attack them. It was like watching a Serie B club try and park the bus in the Coppa Italia. Then at halftime sanity prevails and he switches to his more standard tactics. They proceed to control the next 20 minutes of play, with Inter unable to even string a few passes together.

Just a bizarre viewing experience. Thanks for the three free points.

For those who are saying how we lost the scudetto game last year to them: Just rewatch the De Vrij fail and you will understand. Not even in Serie b i see this mistakes.

Super Toro, 3 points. 5 pt? Gap from Milan? The Napoli chase is on, plenty of games to do this!

Forza INTER!

Haha I love you, @Sawyer . The positivity you bring is infectious.

Let's just hold on to second place :) that will be enough for me

Yeah, at this point it's almost impossible to aim for higher than 2nd place. Napoli are doing just too good. I'm fine with it as long as we win Coppa and do well in Champions League.

Milan & Juve = zero tituli. pls.

Another angle of that choreo

Beautiful.

Lautaro barely put a wrong foot the entire 90 minutes. What a performance. Barella as well though he looked a bit gassed in the 2nd half. Understandable with how much we rely on him.

All in all, the better side won.

The day after, honestly Im not buzzing as much compared to SuperCup, because I was pretty sure we'd win. It feels like we won vs Verona. And Meelan played like them yesterday.

Last season we should have won the title, but gave it until 38th matchday. Look at them now. Diarrhoeavoli not Diavoli.

13 points gap is waaaay much for overcoming but let's not forget that Napoli and Spalletti are natural bottlers so there is like 1% chance :D.

The problem is that our squad is really too weak for 3 different competitions. I would rather go through Porto (for better European points) than focus on Coppa against Juve.

Juve are dirty fucks, I don't want them to injure Lautaro/Hakan/Brozo

To everyone saying our second half was so shit. It is not easy at all to up your game when your opponent is so completely and utterly horse shit. They made a few changes in both approach and subs and they upped their game while we were fairly tired from pressing them so hard for 45 minutes. We are not exactly a team to keep a high tempo for the whole 90 minutes so we were forced to adapt and move the whole team a few yards back. It was almost a mirror of the match we lost 2-1. Luckily for us they are so out of form as a team that we pulled this through.
We should NOT however be so wasteful and actually kill the game early. This happened time and time before, start strong and dominate then gas out.
