Hakan is like Thuram day to day. Good news.

Didn't saw anything about de Vrij.

Oh and Acerbi is also back very soon it seems. Maybe even for Bologna.

Not sure anyone should be getting carried away with this Milan team yet. They have some players who have a very high ceiling and when it comes together for them then they can look really good, the problem is that these same players have a quite low floor and their form veers randomly between these two extremes. One of the reasons Inter has done well in recent seasons is that we have players who operate within a much narrower range, and successive managers have been good at getting these players operating at the top end of their range week in and week out.

You just don't sub off 4/5 of ur midfield and expect to keep a balance in the game...stupid moves by Inzaghi cost us the game and also Toro said it they stopped trying after we had the lead...while Bbilan kept pushing till the end...this is not a mentality of a team who wants to win it all if it's true...worrying

I am pissed about the capitulation. It has happened too many times this season.

But what i am more pissed off about is the new format, the team having to travel overseas and play an extra game.

The fixtures keep piling up. And so too do the injuries. But nothing changes.

The prize money even for a losing side will outmuscle the long travel times. Italian SuperCup losers will get the same amount as Real Madrid got when winning European SuperCup vs Atalanta.

We will be alright with injuries. Hakan is ok already, but won't be risked yet, Thuram is ok . Pavard is almost ready and Acerbi will be back in few weeks maybe. Sometimes all the bad things happen in one game, key players missing and getting injured, not scoring 3-1 with Carlos ( the post) and Frattesi not scoring his golden chance for 3-2 etc

Lets just focus ahead on scudetto and UCL, we have won this Cup plenty of times.

Coppa Italia semis must be a redemption time vs Milan. If we lose there too then that would be a horrible capitulation . Inzaghi has to improve vs Milan. They have our number now. We are controlling everything in 1st halves , but completely shit the bed in 2nd. Lets fix that. Just do what have worked before. Darmian coming in to mark the shit out of Leao and do not give any minutes to Asllani in big games.

We should sign a pure defensive mid too to close out the games while leading . We have conceded the most from 80-90 this season, this would probably help alot.

7 games in 3 weeks, finalizing with Milan.
After these exhausting weeks next 3 games will be Lazio, Fiorentina and Juventus.

If this team is capable of something this is the moment.

Napoli is going to run away with that scudetto, we are fucked. We should try our luck in CL at this point if you ask me...

Winning both of remaining matches would put us in the first spot, although points difference is very tight, we're still most favourite.

Why do you guys give up so easy?

These are not people that go to matches and it shows. On the stadium we always believe we can win, especially with this squad.

Yea, probably we will continue to beat trash teams but when it matters the most this team will dissapoint again, no doubt about it.

Coming from a guy whose underlying point is both that Inter should seemingly beat every single team in the world with no problems and if we don't, it's a giant catastrophe (buhu, I couldn't sleep), but simultaneously on gameday or close to it more often than not complains in that match-thread that unfortunately we'll problably stumble and drop points or lose, no matter if we're facing a relegation-threatened club or a top team - and then loses his shit when we do (which nowadays rarely happens) or blatantly ignores how utterly wrong he was and just moves on to his next wrong prediction (which, with Inzaghi at the helm, is most of the times) and still has the nerve to go "see - I told you so" the one time out of 10 he's right, "no doubt about it" is such an incredulous, ironic statement.

I'm willing to wager - money, if you want - with you, that we'll win the Scudetto this season, which is the very definiton of mattering most. If we do, will you shut the fuck up with your constant bitching?

Lautaro will start scoring eventually and hope this will be the period for him. He have to step up as a captain.

I always believed in this squad, even in bad times, never stopped to believe in the victory. But as you said "especially with this squad" there are high expectations. We have shown to be in the top 8 of europe. A lot of statistics demonstrate it. And not many teams are playing this kind of football. It's insane how much goals we have scored while also not conceding much last year. This is why i'm disappointed. There are no excuses. Conceding 4 goals against Juve, after you were dominating 4-2. The 2 lost derbys were ridicolous. Milan and Juve are on a very low level this season, and still we are making them look like they are not much diffrent from us. All things i already have seen when we lost the scudetto to Milan. Im not wondering if this happends again. I feel like we could do much more but we never did. The same shit also against Atletico last year. Sometimes it's like there is no winner mentality in this team. Why can't we hold a 2 goal advantage, why are we still lacking the same stupid problems even after repeating them? . I choose to be realistic rather then have too much expectations, and then ending to be pissed off because you literally feel fooled from this team. Like it was against Atletico last season, Juve, and the Supercup final. The only joy was to finally have won the second star but we could do (and could have done) much more with the potential we have. Not winning Scudetto or CL this season would be another faillure for me.

Edit: I feel that this is how this winning Era will be reminded at the end. A team that has won a lot of trophies but only 2 scudetto that easily could be 4 or 5 considering how good we were and also considering the level of our competitors. Sure it will be also remembered for the miracles that Marotta has done. But talking about trophies, there will be always that feeling in 10 years when we think back of this years, the team has done only half of that they were capable to do, or let's say 60-65%, something like that. We also don't know when our next winning era will come after that, thats why it's going to be a shame..

Look inward then. Actually, no, I'll do it for you:

I went a bit back in time. To before last season, actually.

Ehm.

Regarding Samardzic
We directly won against Milan to win the Scudetto.

Ended like this:
E9ii155.jpeg

Predictions for the season:
Milan did not get a second star, and Rome, Juventus and Napoli didn't win. We finished with 94 points, our second-highest total in history and the fourth highest in Serie A history.

Regarding Pavard transfer:
We bought Pavard for roughly 30 mil.

Mercato
We finished the season 94 points, our second-highest total in history and the fourth highest in Serie A history, won the Scudetto and the Supercoppa.

Before Fiorentina
We won 4-0.

Before Milan
Too many optimism on this thread,we're gonna lose this.
We shattered "going to get second star soon" Milan 5-1.

Same thread;
This:

Was after this seemingly afwul Mercato, remember?:

Start Asllani for Sociedad.
Asllani immediately loses the ball in our own half in a non-dangerous situation and Sociedad go up 1-0.

Oh well;

We lose one of two matches in the league all season, and surprisingly, Bubba isn't an "optimist". Who would have thought.

Against Salernitana:
We win 4-0.

Before Benfica
We win 1-0.

One draw against Bologna, and Bubba doubles down on his weird Milan obsession
Good predicting.

Before Torino:
We won 3-0.

Random "we'll certainly lose big time to Lazio away" pops up in a CHL-thread
We win 2-0 against Lazio at the Olimpico two months later.

Milan fetish continues
They weren't even close.

Random "we'll certainly lose to Napoli away"
We win 0-3 at San Paolo two months later.

Before Atalanta
We win 2-1.

Milan wankfest continues
They didn't.

Possible stumble against Frosinone on the cards here guys, Milan are right there, remember.
We win 2-0.

Well, Milan will win the league, or maybe Juventus, yes, certainly Juventus actually.
Neither did.

We're simply toast against Benfica.
We drew 3-3.

Before the Derby D'Italia, Bubba is unusually understated before- and after the draw against Juventus.
...then Juventus win their next game, and then suddenly, Abracadabra!;
The draw was all of a sudden result of a pussy mentality.

Here's that certain defeat to Napoli away coming up.
We win 3-0, as stated...

BUT, CALM DOWN, EVEN THOUGH WE'RE LEADING THE LEAD AND BEING DOMINANT, THERE'S NO NEED TO MAKE ANY PREDICTIONS, SAYS THE MASTER OF MAKING PREDICTIONS.

Elsewhere in the championship race Milan are hanging on, and Bubba still (for some reason) has them as clear runaways against Atalanta.
There is no way this Atalanta can harm beelan. Only some utter shit performance from beelan could help them but like I said, they were beating Atalanta ass on their turff when they were much stronger team. Lets hope atleast Napoli does a job.
Five days later, Atalanta beat Milan 3-2.

Mr. "Don't make predictions" predicts now that Juventus wins the Scudetto.

Because of course, Inter will fuck up and you just can't stop Juventus.
Neither happened.

Can't expect too much away to Lazio, guys.
Classic Bubba here: No possible way we can win;
..but the expection should be a clear win because our team is so much better!
... but we're actually so bad and there's no way we can win, it's over.
We win 2-0.

As a sidenote, this is how much of the posting in every matchthread has been up to this point in the season.

What do you know, Bubba thinks we might non win, for once.
This one is the first negative prediction that's not the Juventus game that turns out right.

Crisi Inter, coming up y'know.

We win 2-1, but still, it's not enough, because...

There's that Juventus lurking after a win against the mighty Salernitana, and we will lose in Turin.
We don't lose in Turin, and Juventus don't win the Scudetto. They end up in third.

To make matters worse, rur strikers clearly aren't good enough for a championship run, it turns out.
Our strikers clearly aren't good enough for a championship run, it turns out.
We win the scudetto with Alexis and Arnautovic.

We've been so poor for sooo, sooo long, might not win against Monza.
We win 5-1.

But yeah, Juventus have almost already won the Scudetto (and remember how surely Milan were going to win it before the season, actually?)

Supercoppa final against Napoli? Yep, you know how that's going to turn out.
We won 1-0

But oh no, Calha and Barella are disqualifed from the Fiorentina match. Doom.
We win 1-0.

Draw against Roma is almost certain, and Lukaku will likely score against us.
We win 4-2.

Salernitana could go wrong, actually.
We win 4-0.

After spending half a season reassuring everyone else that they're idiots for thinking Inter have a chance, and first telling everyone that that Milan are favorites, then being absolutely certain Juventus will win, Milan are back in the driver seat, actually.

Take that, Allegri, who I touted to win to so clearly win the league!

Strange indeed how certain winners Juventus are now not so certain winners in favor of the "retarded cousins" you had as favorites before the season began, but you've probably forgotten that prediction as well.

Before Atalanta
We win 4-0.

After us having totally blown every single ounce of competition in the league out of the water (remember; Juventus, Milan, Napoli could win it - certainly not Inter) even Bubba finds it hard to underplay our chances every single match.
But we find ourselves the scudetto showdown against his pre-season Scudetto favorites turned "retarded cousins"
We do the absolute impossible, and win the Scudetto although there was absolutely no chance that could happen.

And this is the absolut norm, and a record-breaking dominating season. Endless whining about how bad we are and how bad we play and how shit all of the players are, almost untill it's physically imposibble for us not to win the championship.

Jump to this season, and it's an instant return to form.

Won 2-3.

(About Milan)
Milan are currently in eight position.

UNHARMABLE JUVENTUS
Fiorentina later drew Juventus, who currently sit in sixth.

Before Leipzig
We won 1-0

(After beating Torino)
We are above the first two, and can go top of the league with our games in hand.

Before Roma
We beat them 1-0.

(Before the Juventus game)
Then all of a sudden after the fact, a draw wasn't good and you just 'knew it'.

Before Empoli
We won 3-0.

Against Venezia
They didn't.
-----------------------------------------------

And so on and so on and so on and so on and on and on and on and on for forever and now we're here, at a point where you claiming that we're not going to win anything because first we lost to Milan and then drew to Napoli and then Juventus and we can't beat the big teams and that's catastrophic and now we lost in this Supercoppa to Milan and we don't have the mentality and blah blah blah blah. It's the EXACT same shit every time. The same absolustic hyperbole where Inter is in a constant, everlasting state of both having the expectations of being able to beat everybody and going into every single match with the expectation of losing or drawing, and then you going berserk everytime we don't win (and then actually having the gall to go "told you so").

Do you really not see it? Do you not see Kramerica's point (https://forzainterforums.com/index....an-25-supercoppa-final-2-3.16355/post-2293914), or was sticking your head in the sand at ignoring it all just easier?

You're beyond parody almost.
