I'm starting to think the fitness level just isn't there for Sanchez. He looked asleep when he started versus Fiorentina. Maybe his best role is as a super sub.

I suspect if we proceed with that 3511 Lukaku will be easily crowded out by Milan’s defense and Eriksen will be nullified stuck in no mans land.

We can of course push forward with our numerical superiority in midfield but that would leave us horrendously vulnerable on the counter, just like at Udine.

The likes of Rebic, Hernandez and Leao are all extremely fast whereas almost no one in our squad can really be considered particularly speedy.

The 3511 (especially with D’Ambrosio as RCB) allows us to change shape into a terrible 4231 so we can double up defensively on the flanks.

That said, everyone knows that a right flank of D’Ambrosio X Candreva is pure cancer.

Just play the 352 with Eriksen as CM. Couldn’t care less whether Esposito or Sanchez starts, I just want to avoid this 3511 which I think creates more problems than it solves.
