Because they asked the players to be back and play this cup while Gasp didn't. It might be a good thing on paper, but we don't know if it is goona give a positive impact though, bcs players played in Copa will be more jaded and it even may make their season worse if by any chances they pick up injuries. This' what happened to us last season when players came back early from world cup.

APPIANO GENTILE – Gian Piero Gasperini has named 24 players in the squad that will travel to Ireland tomorrow for the Dublin Super Cup, scheduled for 30 and 31 July in Dublin.
On Monday 1 August the Nerazzurri will fly from Dublin to Beijing (via Paris, where they will be joined by Ivan Cordoba), ahead of the Italian Super Cup against AC Milan on Saturday 6 August 2011.
Here is the full squad:

But Robinho, Pato, Silva will have another vacation up to 2 weeks after the SuperCup. At least that is what I read in their forum game thread. Gasp and Inter doctors advised our players to stay away and let them have a full recovery after the Copa and then concentrate on the new long season than rush them back have a game and let them back again to brazil or argentina as this is bad for their fitness and could cause injuries when they come back again. All that is a pretty ok plan , but what is making me angry is that Brazil coach called up those 3 still on vacation in Brazil for the friendly 4 days after our SuperCup game in Bejing. Its a friendly with Germany and Lucio, Maicon, Cesar has been called. They cant play 5 times more important game as SuperCup is , but they can play in worthless Brazil friendly 4 days after...
