Interesting first half. We dominated the game for the most part and I saw some really nice combinations in the middle.
Alvarez impressed me positively so far. Gasperini's idea of agglomerating the midfiled really hindered Bbilan's construction.

However we shouldn't forget that there is still a long way to go till the start of the season and many things will change until then. Nonetheless, the first half has left me with a positive impression.

I must say I'm quite surprised. But it has to be added that Milan are terrible they don't move at all, no where near there last season form. Eto is completely ineffective as a cf but on the other hand Sneijder is really running the show from his more custom position.

Obi and Motta deserve prize IMO for first half and Alvarez is really trying hard. Overall a good half with a few scares from Il Nose.

milan tried a few overlapping ball through the centre. ibra not so quick to finish that but pato would be dangerous. i think bbilan will bring pato in 2nd half. our cb need to be more careful on this. perhaps 1 of the cd need to stay a bit deep.
