Lets keep the momentum in serie A and pray to God that Politano doesn't score against us ala Robben.

On top of this, I'd love to have Hakimi, Sanchez, and Eriksen on at the same time. Players capable of actually releasing Achraf into space will be crucial.

Maybe Vidal available for this one? Apparently Hakimi's injury is not a serious one.

I would like to see:

Lukaku - Sanchez
Sensi
Vidal - Brozovic - Barella
Young - De Vrij - Skriniar - Darmian
Handanovic

Or if Conte wants to revert to a 3 man defence:

Lukaku - Sanchez
Sensi
Young - Brozovic - Barella - Hakimi
Bastoni - De Vrij - Skriniar
Handanovic

Can't argue with that selection, spot on.

Koulibaly is going to eat Lukaku, Toro will most likely eat himself, so it would be ideal to have a guy, like ok Eriksen for example, who can thread a pass or score with a great shot, even if we lose a bit of possession we can get more actual chances on the counter with his excellent passing range and force them in open space where they're vulnerable. You already know we're gonna take possession, slam the area with hakimi and Lukaku, pass it back, slam again to whoever is on the left, get frustrated, over-commit, counter attack by Napoli eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee Gol di Napoli.

I would be shocked if the same thing that always happens against good teams, happens again against a good team. And we can't say that Eriksen can't play against a good team, because he never plays against good teams. Boys, I'm basically committed to dying on the Eriksen hill. Its not him it's us, and him playing at his best solves all of our fuckin problems.

The fact that this is mid-week makes the tie more unpredictable.

Napoli has the recipe to kill a Conte team, playing with wingers and with some long range shooting from the middle. Hopefully we catch them on an off day as they're streaky at best.

Seria A this year is very competitive with only 6 points gap between capolista and no 6.

I don't expect Inter will win vs Napoli because Inter very often lose point in the crucial match.

After yesterday’s heroic comeback I decided it was time to treat myself with some tea. The mug I used has my name on it, it was gifted to me on my 13th birthday. Had to do some project for school with a classmate of mine and his mom gave me this mug, which was initially a present for a colleague from work, but he called in sick so she gave it to me. Needless to say she sucked me off later that day after we were done with the presentation. If we beat Napoli I may hit her up on FB for old times sake.
Eriksen deserves another chance.

I can already picture two 30 yard bombs from Mertens finding the top corner as Handanovic stands still looking right at the defenders.

No doubt about it. Sanchez looked like he tweaked his dong and might not be fit anyway.

Eriksen should've had two assists against Cagliardini (good one, Rom). But he faded badly after a bright start, partly due to his tactical requirements and the team as a whole seemingly not giving a fuck after testing Cragno a few times.

On that note, the drop off was truly shocking. It's as if the team just went "OK, that's our 4 shot quota met, now for lunch" and just clocked off after the first 25 minutes or so. If it wasn't for Barella's golazo sparking the team back to life, I'm not sure we would've come back.

Either way, I hope Eriksen gets another start. No need to rush Vidal back from injury and no need to rush Gagliardini in general.

Hopefully Sensi can stay fit for a change and hopefully we experiment further with 4 at the back, but let's not start sucking each other's dicks just yet.

I'm not expecting one of Sensi/Eriksen to start tbh.

I think Hakimi will be back in the team, Lautaro will definitely return up top which is too bad since I think Sanchez has done better helping the team moving forward. Lukaku doesn't seem to be at a 100% with the amount of games he's been playing since he's returned from injury I don't think he missed a game (including internationals) which must be taking it's toll on him considering his last 2 games.

We don't tend to do too badly versus the likes of Napoli we did beat them twice in Serie A (one of which was against Gattuso's Napoli) last year but this year we lack solidity I don't know if it's mental but we can't play a game without conceding we almost managed to screw things up when we went 2-1 up yesterday I just don't understand what's going on with this team.

This will be a really difficult match! Napoli is playing very well while we are survivoring in the last matches. I don't feel good about this match, but i really hope that Inter will surprise me!

Yeah. I fear this match, also I hope we will pull a surprise dominant performance (in terms of balance). Conte has won Gattuso two times already, both times in Serie A last season. He lost and drew with him in Coppa. Coppa defeat happened when we weren't playing that well and had problems if I remember correctly. Not saying we don't have problems now but at least we're on 3 match win streak in Serie A.

There's no chance of Eriksen starting after that last outing.
