The game ended 3-3. Firstly, Bayern's high line had problems with Niang's pace. Secondly, Bayern looked disorganized in attack because of Ancelotti's selections. They played with more CM's and less wingers so They didn't use the wings efficiently and Green was isolated. Only player who could do something in final third was Ribery vs them. Ancelotti changed their game plan vs us. with the same kind of formation and tactic, they would have beaten Milan easily.

Also having 4 subs available (1 goalkeeper) isn't helpful either, can't say I feel too bad about the result. More important is whether there was any kind of game plan shown during the match.

Mancini's strategy is always to win with superior physicality and individual quality upfront. We simply don't possess any of those right now.
We are never going to have any tactical edge or game plan. Our season will be decided by whether Icardi/Banega/Perisic/Candreva/Jovetic can deliver constantly while hoping Handa/Miranda/Murillo to save our ass every game.

we're not progressing up in this pre-season. Instead, we're getting worse and worse. The different with Bayern & Inter are, even with some mixture of youth team, they can score 4 goals and the most important with proper game plan, that green striker managed to score 3 goals. In our side, our 70 mill striker score 1 goal without game plan. 0 chances

When the first Serie A game/Europa League qualification game starts, our football will magically get better by two folds.
Preseason is simply a bunch of games for our players to muck about.

this logic is fallible. people aren't concerned about these games on the basis of them being preseason friendlies. people are concerned because what we're seeing are the same systemic failures we saw last season and mancini isn't changing anything. that doesn't mean nothing will change come september or that it proves we won't make CL but people have reason to be upset at evidence of a team that isn't being well coached after 18 months of time given to the coach and a lot of quality players.

It's really hard to give a shit about all these pre-season games, especially when even Mancini and the players don't give a single fuck either. For fuck's sake, I just want the season to start now. It's not like Mancini cares about these friendly matches anyway. He's not using this opportunity to work on tactics at all. If we played these matches just to embarrass ourselves in front of the Americans, we might as well stay in Milan and play against local amateur teams for as many times as we wanted. If the only purpose of playing pre-season matches is only to gain fitness, we should have just done that.
Last pre-season, Milan played great flowing football to beat an almost full strength Madrid side. Once the season started, look where they both ended up.
Relax guys, it's not only pre-season, it's still only July. Marking, concentration etc all take fitness, and we are still acquiring that. Remember, we will be playing three full tournaments, so fitness is going to be super important this season. We suffered last season because we lost steam post-Christmas. We cannot allow that to happen this time.
