We need Messi starting against Spurs. We also need Spurs to lose form right away. And we need Spalletti to not choke in Europe like he typically does. Not confident at all tbh.Hopefully Barca have easy fixtures around this game.

Barca are away to Espanyol before the Spurs game.So they have a local derby and those generally are very physcial :palm:. Espanyol are currently 5th in the table.Having a good season.:wallbang:

If we don't beat Roma, I suggest closing this thread and someone else opening it.

I am more worried about this match rather than the other one of the group. Spurs will get a draw at best in Barcelona. Will we win this one? I am not so sure. Especially if things don't go well for us in tge next two matches against Roma and Juve.

Barca-Tot 2-3, dont know why but i have this feeling that it gonna be a crazy match with tottenham winning at the end. But as i said in the other thread, i dont care. We lost today and did not much to deserve at last a draw. We had the chance to make it and made a bad game.

To go from five points clear to needing help in advancing is, well, pretty devastating, honestly. Barca is on 13 points and clinched the group. They have injuries and nothing to play for. They're going to put in a competitive game because they wouldn't disrespect their home fans in that way, but I can't in good faith count on them doing us a favor in that game. We've bottled our best chance at advancing and now we have to hope for the best.

This also would've been a great game to give ourselves a chance to rotate the squad. Welp. Not anymore.

Barcelona will definitely field Messi, Malcom, Vidal, Arthur and quite possibly Luis Suarez if fit. That's already better than what Tottenham can cope with unless everyone has the match of his life. Let's worry about us getting the maximum from the PSV game and then we can worry about what Barcelona will do.

This is the type of game where Tottenham will draw Barca and we'll leave it until 96th minute for a Vecino 50 yards shot to score us the ticket to last 16.

If that doesn't happen, well, Vecino's leaving it for Europa League finals.

We go to Europa League.

Disappointing outcome, but we have better chances at the Europa to make some noise than the CL, which is also crucial for our next year's draw. If we reach semis let's say, we're automatically in thr 3rd pot and could probably be close to the 2nd pot.

I can't see Barcelona rotate too much. Also, they are used to perform on automatic pilot (they did it at home against us) and we're talking about the classic "Champions League + Camp Nou" combo. Add "Tottenham" to the equation and it's enough to ease the pessimism.

The real drama could be at San Siro and that would very Inter-esque, but it's too soon to tell, especially with Roma and Juventus back-to-back.

In any case, "Forza Barrr..." ... "Forza Barrr..." ... I have trouble saying those words.
2010 should be water under the bridge: time for the Blaugrana to prove they let go of that grudge.

("Pray to Zenga" felt infinitely more coherent and easy, back in May)

Tbh i think that the PSV game will not be a problem. This is gonna be a 2-0 or 3-0, PSV is already out and isn't a good team, we already saw that against them in Eindovhen, why should we dont win this at the San Siro?

The real problem is Barca Tottenham. I think Tottenham could win, it's gonna be a crazy game with a lot of goals, mark my words.

Beware of one who has nothing to lose ;)

Besides of that, PSV has many competitive players, and also lets not forget that Inter never fails to disappoint :)

today i said to a colleague of mine, that it would be so interesque for barca to win, just for us to lose the psv game.
and he said the exact same thing: that if this happens, we don't deserve to qualify.

If Tottenham manage to beat Barca they deserve to go through...simple. However winning at the Camp Nou is almost borderline sci-fi stuff tbh. We should focus on winning against PSV no calculations...I'm sure we wanted to win against Spurs but with our midfield options in CL we can't control a game against such quality teams...end of discussion. We tried to hold on to a 0-0 obviously but we failed to stop a train named Sissoko, someone should have fouled him but they didn't...Brozo,Asamoah,Skriniar...I mean no team was dominating tbh. There were semi dangerous chances for both teams but...Spurs were controlling the midfield better in the end.
Winning against PSV at the Meazza should be logically the easiest game...but we can push logic out the window with Inter

Why not both?:datass:

Planning to set up a projector and a TV and get some pizzas in with some friends, at least if it's a miserable night I'll be in good company.
