The goal we conceded against Verona was all Handanovic, the first one against Samp was once again on Handanovic not coming out to collect the ball and yesterday we conceded only one chance to a Real Madrid side that can’t stop scoring btw and conceding that.

I know we’ve scored a lot of goals as well but it is clear to see for me our attack will be a bigger issue than our defence this season

The only goal Handanovic was at fault was the Verona one. And that was partly as the positioning of everyone else was awful, but still he made the error in the pass to make it happen.

Collect the ball, when there are 6 bodies there, the velocity is not favoring an outing and seemingly our players are in control of it? That would have been a serious mishap from him. The fact that it ended up in, even if it's by deflection (ie, even here not his fault), doesn't mean that he should have done a mistake to fix something that shouldn't have happened.


He is yet to concede a goal he or any other GK out there should have saved.

If opposition's limited shots are all on target or dangerous that's not the fault of the goalkeeper but of the defensive setup.
