You guys are overreacting. Our fatigue and the general lack of fitness are real. Dumfries hasn’t integrated into the team yet. But other than that, we just need to figure out how to counter attack effectively when we no longer have Lukaku and Hakimi. The rest wasn’t that bad. I mean come on, we lost to Real Madrid, not Salertina.

Dzeko shouldn’t play 90 mins twice a week. Yes. But doesn’t look like Correa alone can create magic either. The only striker that can single-handedly turns the game around is Alexis. We just need to keep calm, learn from our mistakes, and improve from there.

Last season with Lukaku and Hakimi teams knew they couldn’t dare do that against us or we’d tear them apart with their pace on the break. Having Dzeko on the half way line at his age is absolutely useless, he needs to be in the box otherwise it’s a wrap. We have issues with the lack of pace up top but the most worrying is once again our wing backs. Di Marco, Perisic and Damian are all super slow. Dumfries is a bit quicker but his technical ability is poor. I can’t believe there’s a few people that are blaming our defense haha wtf, that’s far from our problem atm

well that is why inzaghi is experimenting with dzeko as hold up guy for possesion football and 1-2s but it is still in beginning stages. lol i mean what do you want from guy to make them faster lol he is coach he knows this that is why he wants to play possesion football and first 60 minutes it was great but bench is just that not good like conte said last year he wanted reinforcements he knews 1 year older vidal vecino sanchez will NOT CUT IT

This 1000 times. I remember there was a ball into Darmian on the edge of the box and Darmian did not come close to getting it before the defender. Not saying Hakimi would've gotten to it but damn this team needs some pace. Might get away with it in the league but we'll get eaten alive by teams like Madrid and better.

Man I was thinking about that play for a while. Hakimi 100% is in on goal there. And it was actually really beautiful play. The type of build up we didn’t do last year under Conte.

Yeah this was actually extremely equal performance to our opponent which was a big club. I'd say we could have might as well won it but we lost. It's fucking unfortunate but this time we weren't outclassed by the opponent.

Unfortunately something came up so didn't watch it live but just finished watching the replay.

Tough goal to give up that late and even more so by the chances that we missed. You simply have to finish your chances against a team like Real Madrid if you want to get the 3 points. They took their chance and we missed ours simple.

Overall I thought defensively we were pretty solid but did look slow at times compared to them and wished we had crossed the ball into the box a bit more.

Solid performance overall and see no reason we can't advance to the next round as long as start finishing chances.

You can't just say we don't have defense problems when we conceded in every game we played so far this season. And almost every goal we conceded was when we were already set up in defense and not from counterattacks or some kind of transition. Agree with everything else you v said, but not blaming our defense for conceding this much is for me the thing that's laughable.

When you have a defensive solidity at back, it doesn't matter that you can't score goals, or how quick your wingbacks are, you just feel that nothing can go through that wall. Last time I had this feeling with inter team was when lucio and samuel were here. We can't do serious things in cl without that, although for seria a I'm much more optimistic given that 80% of teams are pure shit, especially in attack.

The goal we conceded against Verona was all Handanovic, the first one against Samp was once again on Handanovic not coming out to collect the ball and yesterday we conceded only one chance to a Real Madrid side that can’t stop scoring btw and conceding that.

I know we’ve scored a lot of goals as well but it is clear to see for me our attack will be a bigger issue than our defence this season

Now that all the apple juice has been put down I hope people in here realise how good our performance was last night, people didn't believe before the game and after that game if you actually watched it and still think we won't qualify and it's all doom and gloom you should take a break from sports in general.

I also didn't want to comment in the "ratings" section but I won't vote whilst it's public, seeing the first 2 ratings for Brozovic as a 6 is madness imo, if anyone thinks Brozovic only warranted a 6 you were either pissed at the result or simply did not watch the game. You right, he cant make this snails faster, but he can stop let dzeko play 90 min every fucking game and let correa and dumfires play and put some speed, with this slowness of the team we gonna have very hard time to score even vs trash teams...
