10 years of FIFInzaghi with bad subs. Perisic and Darmian subs were a bit early. Dzeko should have been subbed off instead of Lautaro. Vecino sub was weird as well.
We shouldn't have lost this one. Very frustrating result and totally avoidable.

that scares me fitness and if it is this bad what shaktar and sherrif with their fitnes will do to us. we are just not comfortable holding ball possesion and if we have to do that against high intensity pressing teams we better learn it fast and i mean you have seen us being frastrated by players just standing around not giving player with the ball any forward passing options THAT NEEDS TO CHANGE FAST

This is exactly what I was about to write I am worried about. The team is good but their fitness levels are really worrying me.
We can't even last a whole match, even with a bunch of decent subs (for our level...have to play crap like vencino that's the reality of it). And while a high level match today, this wasn't even some high intensity match, there was plenty of walking around energy conserving by both teams.
I am worried. I don't expect full on intesity for 90 mins but we can't even last a whole match with normal intensity right now.

Congrats to Real for having the balls to sub in an 18yo kid who showed up with a detrimental assist that won the game. It was a great goal, you can't really say much other than that, they managed to catch our defense in a very liable situation and that's that.
Subs were pretty bad on our side, in particular the Perisic one.
It's only the first fixture, this will be a massive wake up call to the boys, I'm sure of that much.
