10 years of FIFAs expected, Real Madrid started pushing us to our half and we hardly had any plans in the second half.
Perisic should have continued or not subbed so early I think. Dzeko and Calh have been useless in the last 2 games I have watched. Dzeko did make few good direct shots straight at GK but that was it from him today.
Hurts to lose in the 89 minute but that was expected and i think it is better to lose against Real than our other 2 opponents (I remember saying the exact statement last season as well).
We need to do much better to get past this group phase for sure. Brozovic, Barella and the defence (except for 89 min) did well tonight. Ah well, 1 point lost!!

The most overrated part of our team is our back three. People look at their fifa rating or whatever and think yeah no problem here, but the way they move and cover for each other is laughable at times.
Regarding the game, I can't be that mad, we were the better team for significant part of the game, even the second half wasn't that bad imo, but I guess we can't expect much given everything around the club and our summer mercato philosophy.
All in all, the way we played, i m slightly more optimistic about our run in seria a this season than I was after the game against samp.

- Perisic is clearly better than DiMarco - which should surprise no one.
- Dumfries does not have what it takes to be a starter or even first substitute for this team.
- Dzeko is not a 90-minute player.
- Hakan is not inconsistent - he is consistently mediocre.
- Brozovic is our most important player.
- We do not play with the expectation to win. We play with the hope of creating an upset.
