What half chances?
Lautaro was totally free with his pathetic header and dzeko pass the ball to thier gk, this both chances was very good, but both of them was done like shit...
WELL LAUTARO had clear cut chance and deko was streaching to hit the ball and motm was their gk who stoped everything. youmjust have those games and like i said you need to create chances not run on them by mistake where you did not expect them. so learn one-two close space passing and go from there because if you gonna cross the ball atleast be good at it and cross the good chance not cross the bal to no one or worse always to lautaro who can nott score a goal with head if it is not mistake and ball hit him while golie is going other way

I think Inter will qualify from the group but we need to improve our finishing and Inzaghi his subs. Inter deserved at least a draw tonight but we kinda self sabotaged and conceded in the worst moment.

Better luck and subs next time.

Don't have one.
This is the first year with good fifa rating. The fuck are you on about
Was not thinking literally fifa rating, I just gave an example through that kind of rating of how individually three of them are highly rated with fans but as a back three and working together there is a lot of question marks.

Bruh, have you been watching Atalanta all last seasons? Maybe you're in the wrong forum.

Dzeko, Calhanoglu and Darmian haven't done a thing right this half. Also uncharacteristically poor game from De Vrij. Overall we haven't embarrassed ourselves and it's already an improvement on last season; let's just hope Madrid's inevitable goal doesn't come in the last minute of the match.

For fuck's sake.

Guy's overrated but sacrosanct on here for whatever reason, can't say nothing about him
Well after having Lukaku in this team apparently anyone who can receive a ball and pass it along is strongly appreciated. Didn't you see how crazy this forum went after Dzeko's first game?

For 60 minutes we were by far the best team in the pitch. We lost because of a defensive hiccup, but it wasn't the only one. We lost possession a lot and invited them for chances but our defense was strong enough to sustain them for the most part.

Hopefully we're not lacking in fitness as Pintus being away is a concern, but heavy legs in the first 1-2 months is expected after the season starts and lots of these guys haven't had a proper rest in 3 years.

We could have scored at least 3 goals today based on display, but that's not how this thing works. Real Madrid got lucky to escape with 3 points but that's something we need to recover from. Mental test for our guys.

What is clear to me thus far:

  • Perisic is clearly better than DiMarco - which should surprise no one.
  • Dumfries does not have what it takes to be a starter or even first substitute for this team.
  • Dzeko is not a 90-minute player.
  • Hakan is not inconsistent - he is consistently mediocre.
  • Brozovic is our most important player.
  • We do not play with the expectation to win. We play with the hope of creating an upset.
Best post so far in this thread.

Yeah I thought the players tired noticeably in the second half. The goal was a lapse in concentration.

Yeah this is well said. We were AT LEAST on par with them in general and even better for some parts, brehme says even 60mins. We just couldn't score and then we keep giving the ball away way too easily which is a bad thing because possession reserves energies too. Real puts you to run as they cycle the ball so it would be better to keep it than give it to them.

Good thing is we have next match right on Saturday so there won't be too many days to think about this match, they need to concentrate on the next one already.

The result hurts like a mother f.. hurts bad. We played so well, we certainly didn't deserve to lose (especially Skrin, Brozo and Barella). I honestly thought we'd have got the 3 points tonight and even towards the end I was happy with the point considering the shower of negativity towards the game (especially on these forums) and the fact we were playing Real Madrid.

It's been said many a times Dzeko can't play 90 mins, I'd not even have him starting let him steal a wage on the bench with lolarov. Correa/Toro should be given a chance to see what they can do together. Hakan as well is absolutely useless, Gagliardini could play well against Genoa, so the hype he got has finally come to reality it's just a sad situation because glasshouse is injured and well what options do we have to support Brozovic/Barella? Badly miss Erik :( wasteman/vecino/gags don't cut it.. so Hakan needs to use the talent he has and seriously up his game or we need to seriously consider buying in January to fix this problem.

Anyway losing this game isn't the end of the world, we played really, really well in my opinion and I am more positive of the CL qualification than I was before this game so let's keep the chins up and Forza Inter.

We shot like what, 3 times more than them?
And yet can't score a goal. I suggest we play the primavera team for the rest of the CL games, no matter what we do we are not going into 1/8's for some kind of weird jinx someone sent to us, probably Frank De Boer or some shitty coach or player like that.

Then focus on Serie A. And don't even make it into Europa League as it's a waste of time.

We played well,I was expecting much worse. We dont have quality on bench like Real and that cost us. You need to score every fkn chance against them, thats how you beat them. We didnt,we lost. And thats it. Now lets move forward.

WE had Dzeko and we did not cross to him , either we use him or sub him no point in keeping 35 years on field for two games for 90 minutes
