We should have won this by at least 4 clear goals but I will happily take the +3 at the end of the day.
From what I've seen Roma players were complaining about why Thuram took the ball and kicked it in the air after the final whistle. Nothing serious really. Happen at the heat of the game. What happened right after the end of the match? Seems like Thuram was having a quarrel with Roma players.
sad to see the curva apparently were being the little racist pieces of shit that they truly are in their core. why did they choose a club that is called internazionale when they hate people for their skin color? https://www.reddit.com/media?url=https://i.redd.it/banner-from-inter-fans-against-lukaku-today-along-with-v0-5567gtkjb6xb1.jpg?s=b292d4a24df3f6f01791ded1e6e461187cfe4ef4 i guess the whistles were distributed so that other sounds would be drowned out?
Well, his plan worked pretty much of the game. And they were missing Pellegrini, Smalling, Spina and Dybala. So, imagine us playing away against stronger team in CL (like Bayern) without Dumfries, Hakan, Bastoni and Thuram. Plus we have a good bench options, which Roma lacks. You think we would achieve something there? Mou plan was good and they were close to get the point.Love Mou but he should give up on club career after Roma. The quality of his team play is so low that is hard to watch.
I mean they were our opponents and I was actually feeling ashamed of their lack of effort/ideas getting forward. I can't see how Roma fans don't complain more.
seriously? How do we know banana is not Lukaku's favorite fruit?
Well, it's all about implication of racism, which happens a lot in Italy. I'm wondering why would fans be so stupid to use racist chants and imagery, when they know it's going to hurt the club (and them too). Actually I expected Inter fans to go all out, whistles were the main instrument this time and that wasn't racially charged, but there were still idiots with monkey chants (saw on tiktok videos, it could spell trouble if FIGC finds out)How do we know banana is not Lukaku's favorite fruit?

Their roster is crap. One player from starting eleven injures himself and they have no proper replacement. Cant be compared with our roster.14 from 30 possible points so far and beside the games against us and Milan they only played weaker sides.

I've actually read that the whistles were a way of trying to drown out the monkey chants, pretty clever - sad to see it being necessary.Well, it's all about implication of racism, which happens a lot in Italy. Our team was fired up enough against Lukaku to not need fans trying to fuck up Lukaku mentally.
All papers seem to agree:Lukaku was the worst player on the pitch and just for the laughs, Thuram scored the winner.
This only proves Lukaku`s fragile mentality. So glad that Inter didn`t splash 40M on him!The Belgian forward returned to San Siro on Sunday and didn’t receive a warm welcome as Inter fans waited for him with 40,000 whistles, while his former teammates, including Lautaro Martinez, ignored the Belgian in his first game as an opponent against the Benamata.
The Giallorossi suffered a 1-0 loss, seeing Lukaku’s heir at Inter, Marcus Thuram, score the winner in the second half.
La Gazzetta dello Sport journalist Fabio Licari was quite harsh on the Chelsea loanee who received the lowest rating alongside Nicola Zalewski. Both players were rated 4.5/10.
‘It could have been the effect of boos or just a bad night, but it’s rare to see such a poor Lukaku performance in Italy. He got everything wrong,’ wrote the Gazzetta dello Sport journalist.
The Belgium international was the worst player on the pitch for Corriere dello Sport as well, although other Roma players were rated 5/10: Zalewski and Rasmus Kristensen.
Corriere dello Sport journalist Pietro Guadagno wrote that Lukaku ‘was affected’ by boos from Inter fans but partially justified the 30-year-old saying that his Roma teammates ‘didn’t help him much.’
Tuttosport wrote that Francesco Acerbi ‘nullified’ Lukaku, who ‘didn’t touch the ball except for a pass to Stephan El Shaarawy.’ Lukaku was rated 4.5/10 by the Turin-based paper.
