Wheres Nasri or Quaresma , we had no pressure on there midfielders at all, if we did it was a 3 on 1 siituation and they created the space, i am feeling like mancini is part of the problem , but our players looked fater today , but things will get better

i still cannot believe it....cesar was so close!!and we can all clearly see toti went straight to burdisso's leg....anyway....the match was wrongly started...mancini should have started with cambiasso and not dacourt!!thank god he substituted him!!!
we also should have played more offensively,and Manci made a mistake with Zanetti in the center of the midfield...imo

Totti danced through three defenders and nearly was alone on Cesar if he hadn't have slipped (for like the 5th time)

Burdisso was the worst IMO... nearly got an own goal and got the foul that caused the penalty goal ... he couldn't do much there though Totti played it well.

I was impressed by Ibra's play at certain times, made the wonderful pass to Figo that he couldn't capitalize on, and finessed a few roma players out of their cleets.

Overall they looked very sluggish.. only a few players looked like they were trying... Suazo had some good chances but couldn't finish...

Not all that bad, but if we could have finished better we would have won it.

I guess the same goes for Roma though because Giuly had a few close chances.

I disappointment to say the least..

I said a few weeks ago that whenever mancini's single tactic doesnt work, the team crumbles and he cant get it back up because he has zero knowlegde and i got blasted by these geniuses fot thois, but what happened again today :howler:

We were never in it, and hence never looked likely to score. So when Roma scored on from the penalty I knew the game was lost.
I won’t name and sham e our players because the list will almost include all of them as I don’t have the energy nor the time to do so.
Credit to Roma as they wanted this one more than us – simple as that. We had 11 players on the pitch probably thinking this is yet another summer friendly.
Mancini’s main task until Sun is to get that winning mentality back into their heads as today’s display was anything but good.

I still don’t see Roma challenging for the Scudetto as it take more than one game to win it, and they just don’t have enough quality in their squad to make it in the long run.

I dont understand how people can react this way to this loss.

It was in the cards, anyone could see it was a sure loss even with some of their key players missing.

1. we always choke in important games.
2. we always suck against fast playing team.
3. we lost a team that is very well put together tacticaly unlike ours. The point of a great coach is that his tactical makes the players play to 90-100% of their potential, spaletti does this at roma, mancini doesnt.

0-1 was a great result, we should thank guily for not making a yet another tennis loss.

We have a team with no speed, creativity or any tactical awareness, our force is against the minor teams, and thats how we have a chance to win serie a again.

Forget the CL, there is no point participating in it this season.

It was obvious that the team was UNFIT!!!

Players were walking towards the end of the game and they were unable to catch the fired up Roma players. We were outplayed in all parts of the field and unfortunately there weren't any positives that we could take out of the this game.

On the penalty, to be honest I predicted it before it happened because it was clear that Burdisso didn't have the strength to face Totti!!

Mancini needs to increase fitness level of all the players. Last season physical strength was one of key factors for our great run.

Well, defeat always hurts but that's the way football works.

And why shouldn't they be? They've beat "one of the best teams in Europe" 3 of the last 4 matches. :doh:

Anyway, Burdisso and Vieira looked complete garbage. I honestly don't know what goes through Mancini's mind when he pencils in Burdisso at RB. At best, he's below average, at worst, he's a complete liability.

I also find it desperately sad that we're relying on Figo, who won't play every game, to provide the spark for our team. Deki is not a playmaker and never will be due to his inconsistency. God forbid if we ever lose Figo to an extended injury or we'll be playing with 4 midfielders that are clones of each other. Oh well, time to move on and get ready for the season.
