I'm not that unhappy with Burdisso. It's not like he was going to rape Roma defence as full-back and that penalty was moment of stupidity and also great play from Totti. Can't really blame him for almost scoring an own-goal because he didn't and he needed to get the ball away. If you noticed there was red shirt few meters behind him luring for the ball.

Well we played shitey realy!! I mean exept fore suazo,capitano,chivu, cuchu and cesar ou re whole team sucked !! But still it s not the endo of the world i mean yeah we ve lost but only coz none of ou re player s was in top shape.
I mean deki did bearly anythin the creativity was 0 do to ibra and figo beeing way too slow. Has been a long time since i saw Ibra that slow. Also oure defence was miserable burdiso on rb well we know how he plays there and matrix and cordoba made a lot of litel mistakes wich is unusual especially fore the latter he somtimes reminded me of the old matrix.

Anyway i m still very positive about u re squad this was 1 bad match now wait till even those who participated in the coppa are bck 100% and u ll see the right inter.

Its sad how a few losses against teams way ahead of us in terms of preparation and a loss against a good Roma team in the >SUPER CUP< makes people wanna change our whole squad, kick our coach who helped us brake every record in Serie A last season, and get players like Kaká, Deco, Ronaldinho and Messi.

People seems to forget that we just lost one game in the league last season, whats changed since last season? We've added a great defender and a great striker, a bad Juventus returned with Napoli and Genoa. Are they gonna stop us? Please...

Indeed, maicon is important, so is maxwell. Without these two we have ZERO speed in the team, our midtfield has to be the slowest and most predictable midtfield in the world. No creativity and no speed, i dont care how great your team looks on paper, if there is no speed or creativity you wont win any big games.

Mancini need to realise that if insist on playing such a static midtfield with no speed and creativity but purely power and defensive ability, he needs to play some offensive backs every game, or else there will never be any decent runs forwards and the striker wont get anything decent to work with.

Buying Deco would be useless. He'll reach expiring date in few years time aswell and again we have to go splash 10+ millions. Get someone young with flair and years. But facing the truth, we won't get one.

Anyway, Mancini has showed with the Roma games of past 3 seasons. (it's not only last season when they were owning us with the pace of their play) I must agree, Mancini hasn't got much ideas in his mind. We play very similiar football, lot like Manchester United. If we face certain type of teams, we easily get brought out of it. Our team is made to stream past a classic Italian team, but when it comes to clubs like Roma etc, we struggle. Different styles of play from Italian kind are headache to Mancini and Inter. That's why we need a true attacking midfielder with loads of flair. Someone that could give us the extra edge against any possible opponent. Lacking such guy is the only problem this Inter has in my eyes.

If some of you would say that our defence can't face the pace of Roma's game then I'd say that a true attacking midfielder can help us keep more of the ball, giving less chance for Roma to attack and giving more options to us.

As far as I'm concerned. Our attack doesn't depend on Stankovic, Ibrahimovic etc that much. Key element in my eyes, as sad as it may seem, is our central midfielder - Cambiasso. If he plays good so does the rest of the team. Today he wasn't in form and our attack was pathetic. Check out Valencia away game for why I think so. We need to change it because Figo is the only one who can be more important than him to our attacking play in my eyes and it's tough to get him in right form.

Ibra has so much flair, but if we don't have proper midfielder to feed him constantly and good, like in this game, he only can show flashes of brilliance. He isn't type of Adriano at his best who came to midfield, picked up the ball and make incredibly pacey and accurate run upfront, if he didn't get the ball like he wanted.

No im not, i wanted chivu to play cb, but alot of people seems to think he was brought here to play lb, and given how mancini has played him so far it seems like it.

Quite the opposite, people are hanging on to this fact way to much. It was the weakest serie a ever, milan sucked balls all season. We were lucky in our win streak several times. Those 97 point has deluded people and they forget how we totally choked in the cl and in got humiliated in the coppa.
