Quite the opposite, people are hanging on to this fact way to much. It was the weakest serie a ever, milan sucked balls all season. We were lucky in our win streak several times. Those 97 point has deluded people and they forget how we totally choked in the cl and in got humiliated in the coppa.

Indeed Milan sucked balls last season. But what makes you think that they're soooo much better this year? The addition of Ibrahim Ba and Pato? Even if Nesta is back and they have Ronaldo and Oddo from the start of the season they arent even close to us this year.

If you don't bash on Azzkikr, you could notice he's right in many of his points after all.

Anyhow, out team has lost some of it's motivation and our team is big in its physics so it takes us a bit more time to get into the gel.

Fast any motivated tems like Valencia and Rome always did problems for us.

Im not saying that we're perfect, we could use some creativity on the midfield. But this guy is trying to make it look like we'll be lucky if we take an UEFA cup spot in the league and makes it out of the group stages in CL. We were unlucky in CL last year, we dominated the game at home and should've had 3 or 4 goals in that game, the midfielders werent the problem in that game, it was the strikers that couldnt find the goal, Ibra had 3 or 4 great oportunitys to score.

The same thing happened in Valencia. The midfield wasnt the problem.

All great teams in Europe have some weaknesses, Barcelona has a horrible keeper. Chelsea, just like us, lacks creativity on the midfield, Manchester United lacks a pure striker that can make anything of the crosses and passes that Ronaldo, Giggs and Scholes make, Madrid, well, they're just bad.

Milan has a fine team, they played alot below their ability for a long time. But what milan does or doesnt do should be irrelevant to us, we state that we have cl ambitions but we dont act accordingly to our ambitions.

Serie a is alot more open next season.

1. stronger league with the new team for sure.
2. its highly unlikely that we will such a great season again.
3. its highly unlike that milan will suck as much as last season.
4. roma has improved their squad.

We have a great chance to win serie a because the key to winning serie a is to consistently beat all the minor team and that we can surely do, but we dont have a team capable for the cl at all. Our power midtfield dominates weak team but falls short against good fast playing team.

As far as I'm concered, we can wait until the Serie A opener, but if something like this happens there, I would be absolutely mental if we wouldn't add a new midfielder into our ranks. Not Kovac or someone just decent. We need someone with skill and pace. Though I hope we try out Jimenez. But he is more of a mixture between attacking midfielder and Stankovic style.

I agree, for once, with azzkikr. We cannot do against pacey teams. It's not this game that has made me think like that, ages ago we've known it. Why we play so great against Milan is that they play such slow and position football and lot depends on Kaka and out of all clubs on earth, we probably take him "out" the best. While Europe clubs don't know how to handle him and Milan experienced defenders really work fine in Europe. He offers Merda the flair we meanwhile miss.

I know he have right in some points like that we should get better if we wanna have chance in CL. But most of the time he exaggerate so much, and make Inter look like worst bigger team in Europa , which is definitly not true. And like Inters Scudetto was worthless last year, it's something only some milan and juve fans would say.

Hooly shit after reding this page i have to say it ain t good old inter again but it s good old interisti again!! After a supercoppa los wich was only 1:0 u guys start crying around and want that we buy some new players.
God damn guys u all need to learn how to chill a lil tip go and smoke some weed!!

I'm not saying that Inter is bad, just based on one game. We are just discussing the flaws and the problems with the midfield, which has been an ongoing discussion since I don't know when.

Indeed, maicon is important, so is maxwell. Without these two we have ZERO speed in the team, our midtfield has to be the slowest and most predictable midtfield in the world. No creativity and no speed, i dont care how great your team looks on paper, if there is no speed or creativity you wont win any big games.

Mancini need to realise that if insist on playing such a static midtfield with no speed and creativity but purely power and defensive ability, he needs to play some offensive backs every game, or else there will never be any decent runs forwards and the striker wont get anything decent to work with.

Probably the only time I am gonna agree with this clown.
Maxwell should serioulsy start ahead instead of the makeshift Full backs. And why is Cordoba still in our team? We have 5 CBs, we need to get rid of atleast one.
And we need a creative midfielder for our team, like Nasri or Quaresma (NOT DECO). Figo is a grand dad, we cant keep on relying on him.

Most of the fans here are drama queen anyways. One loss and its the end of the world. Not on ManU, Chelsea or Barca's level. ROLF. Do you guys see what ManU are doing these days, or what Chelsea did today? No team in the world can keep on winning each and every game. And Roma are no pushovers, they have a GREAT team and are genuine Scudetto contenders, even more so than Milan.

Clown? If by clown you mean the only person who knows what he is talking about, then yea im a clown.

And nobody gives a **** about losing the cup, but we care about the way we lose it. Just like the 6-2 loss in the coppa final and 1-3 loss in serie a, we were absolutely humilated. Although it only ended 0-1 they should have won 0-4 or more based on their dominance and chances. We looked like a serie c with hangovers yet again. These embarrasing games show our obvious lacks, both on the pitch and tacticaly.

These performances are an absolutely embarrasment to the club, a club who states in public that their primary objective is the cl...

To be honest, between everyone, and azzkikr, it seems you're both from two extremes, the ones that delusionally think everything is fine, and those on the other hand that are saying it's Armagaddeon.

Anyone who is not mentaly sick who watched the game would know that Inter missed several good chances, same like Roma did. They scored on penalty, its not an embaressing game to loose, Roma are good team. But never mind, like asslicker said, nobody else know what they talk about, its only him who knows all. :)

Everything's fine. Midfield did good in choking Roma but was God awful in providing and creating anything for our attackers when we had the ball.
All in all I saw a much more organized Inter then in preseason. For me things are looking good.

Roma weren't that great either. Totti had a great night and decided the match. Had Suazo scored his header, Ibra his chance and Figo should of ****ing scored his then no one in here would be be saying it's Armageddon, except maybe Azzkikr.

And to debate whether we can win the CL or not is dumb. Of course we can, together with say 8-10 other clubs.

Doesn't really bother me THAT much that we lost today, it still bothers me though because I have alot of Romanista friends. Anyways, a week ago this summer we beat Milan, Juventus twice and Manchester United and we lost to Roma.

So there's no need to make it seem like there's a crisis going on like Azzkikr.

Hey Azz if you are going to count Giuly's laughable misses then you might as well count up Suazo's header, his one on one, where he put it into Doni's arms. Figo's one on one and Zlatan's big miss in the first half. By your count then it is actually 4-4.

Nvm all that you make a lot of valid points bud but your offensive manner of conveying them is hardly the way to go about convincing people of them.

Has the management left our midfield neglected? Yes. Have we yet to improve our strategy against faster teams? Yes. However, have we seriously improved our backline which was disgustingly bad last year, especially in the CL? Yes, Chivu took care of that. Have we looked at improving our speed upfront and getting a player that will be able to tear through the high line many CL teams take up? Yes, Suazo is here for that.

I am by no means an optimist especially seeing how garbage we played today; but to say we always choke in big games is a huge overstatement. Both Milan derbies last season put a rest to that. Hell even the Super Cup from last season is an example.

As for Mancini's inability to make changes I think that is hardly fair. How about the change in tactics in the second Milan derby that basically nullified their midfield and won us the game? There also other several other examples against smaller teams where we were struggling and a slight change in personnell or tactics turned the game in our favour.

Mancini may not be the ideal coach but I think he has learned a lot in the past couple of seasons. Hopefully, he will carry this over to the CL and not embarrass us yet again.
