Never denied we were poor. But sometimes you have poor games and manage to scrape through and get better from there and end up winning the competition.

Milan were poor vs celtic this season but Kaka saved them and they improved from their.

Guys...We need a playmaker or rely on recoba in that place cz obviously Deki can't do that especially if we are one goal down and the other team is defending toughly !!

I don't know why Moratti us furious cz it's very obvious we need someone to break things up and open spaces !! yet we have to offload Recoba or retry him for the zillion time in that position....and if i were mancio after viera saying these foolish comments.....i'd play cpaitano cambi and deki as the swat team with the new play/maker , figo and jimenez in the 2nd half behind Suazo and Ibra....


Other than this we are having tough time , season if we don't score at the start of the match !! we don't want t risk that in our anniversary !!

Waleed are you taking some of those Uncle Fester happy pills?? Side effects are confusing players and there positions. Like Kaka as a striker. Gerrard is no playmaker he is a great 2 way midfielder but isn't and has never been a playmaker. Hence LFC didn't play with no playmaker.

Chelsea were poor in the communtiy shield but have won 3 league games in a row. While Man utd were better in the community shield but haven't won 1 epl game yet. Hence those performance in the warm game meant nothing same could happen with Inter.

Chelsea have been an all round dominant team for the past three years. Dont you think comparing us to them is a little premature? Plus I'm actually glad you mentioned the ManU example. Look at them do they not have a comparable squad to ours? They only lack a solid striker like they had in Ruud that will put away the many chances they create. Funny that our problem is almost the exact opposite.

In the cl we went out on away goals. You need some luck in the cl to progress had we had that luck anything could have happened. We haven't been knocked by our opponents in the cl in last 2 season we just haven't scored the goals in the right stadium.

In the CL we did not lack luck we lacked the ability to go forward and look for goals in a stadium on foreign soil. We got bounced by a very mediocre team that had basically one player driving them to destroy us. Whereas the second time Mancio got out thought by a coach in his maiden voyage in the CL. Excuses of a decimated midfield aside, our opponents lacked key players as well, they looked much more threatening in front of net despite the fact that we needed a goal.

People if you want to delude yourselves into thinking that it is only about this game then go right ahead. For those of you that are willing to look at the bigger picture and notice that the same glaring holes in our tactics and overall approach to the game remain will realize that Im not speaking out of my ass on these matters.

Waleed you only read the first part. I then asked you to show me this super playmaker. And LFC have gerrard but we have Ibra and personally believe Ibra to be more creative than the forwards which won lfc the cl and reached another final.

I understand the frustration of some of you but I believe it's very harsh to react this way after one game.

And chelsea are very similiar to Inter. Their game is based on a lot of strength and hardwork.

They play a very similiar system in a 4-3-3 compared to our 4-3-1-2 system. The only difference is they use 2 quick player up front while we only use suazo.

The also don't emplay a creative playmaker unless someone here is going to tell me essien,lampard or mikkel are great playamkers.

But I disagree about your idea of benching JZ. And Milan never benched maldini he was injured when he was fit he always played.

Stefan it is not one game when history repeats itself again and again. I would love to be wrong on this but Im expecting the same shit show to happen in our first league game against Udinese.

I do agree to a certain extent with you waleed;We really do need a midfield playmaker just to unlock defences away from home and to utilize Suazo's pace. But I think we can manage for another year, Stankovic is adequate(just) and I think Figo will want to finish his career on a high but I can't see us winning the CL this year unless there are serious errors from some of our opponents.

Well, I agree with you that we need a playmaker, but it seems that we don't learn from our mistakes. I was calling for us to get A Mancini since he'd be the prefect playmaker: Serie A ready, in a mature age, and can play anywhere as a playmaker (AM, RW, LW) but the management decided to keep Figo.

Which is great, because Figo, love him or hate him, is the best playmaker I ever saw at Inter (not a good group, but he was better with us than Baggio was.) So, in that case, go for a young playmaker but with some experience, but the management though Jimenez is better than Quaresma, which I really doubt.

So we are back to square one. And the worse position to be weak at is AM, and Milan can have a bad defence, but if they have Kaka and Gorcuff as a sub and maybe Pato later, then they can go further than us.

About your other statement, I don't agree with your comment on Vieira. He said the truth and there was no big blow up afterwards. Not all players get along and they don't have to, they just have to be professional. Heck, there are couples that don't love each other that stay married for years, if they can do it, so can Vieira and Materazzi.

Also, it will be our loss. Even when he isn't 100%, Vieira is MUCH better than the current Cambiasso, whom I hope will regain his form. Besides, we need his tough mentality and winning attitude, something that 90% of our players lack.

Yes, A Mancini would be a good buy...I hadn't thought about him and he would be effective if we wanted to revert to a system with wide players such as 4-4-2 or 4-3-3.

Agree,Viera is a leader, when in form he delivers beautiful passes, defend, is very strong in air. He will soon be back to his best. About Cambiasso, I hope he have less injury problems this season, because he's amazing player, also not bad going forward and run really much. I really hope Stankovic or Jimenez will show some class as AM, or we might have problems this season..

We desperately needed and still need a midfielder and I still don't agree with those who say we are done in midfielders. We lack a creative midfielder and we are very close to the end of transfer market. As I said earlier, we have acquired Jimenez but I doubt he's gonna work.

I agree, that we were rubbish against villareal when Riquelme tore us apart and we were rubbish offensively v valencia in the 2nd leg that is. In the first Leg we were raping them uptil cambiasso's injury as the stats told
