- Kick off: 20:45 CET

Inter recent form: WLLWW (Serie A, Coppa and Europa League included)

Sampdoria recent form: LWLDL

Sampdoria conceded 15 goals on their last five games, gaining four points. They are relegation battlers, 17th on the table, one point above Genoa and the Serie B traveling spot.

I expect us to play Vecino Barella and Brozo in midfield.

Sanchez played full 90 minutes so it means he is finally wholly fit. I hope he starts over Lautaro, since the former was crucial in scoring some of the goals for us lately, and overall plays well.

Lukaku is a must.

I expect an Eriksen entrance after an hour of the game.

Don't know if Handa will be back, if he does, I expect a clean sheet.

Prediction: 3-0 for Inter. 3-1 if Handa won't play.

We will score like 10 a game if we drop the 3 in the back bullshit

it will be absolutely surprising if Conte abandon his 3 5 2 in this fixture. we certainly will start with 3 man defense and switch to 4 3 1 2 during mid-game when things go south.

Skriniar--De Vrij--Bastoni

Candreva--Barella--Brozovic--Young
--Eriksen--
Lautaro--Lukaku

i would love to see Alexis as starter. the guy looks more significant now in the build up play.

Would start Eriksen and Sanchez again. Maybe show Lautaro he isn’t a guaranteed starter if he plays like he’s been playing, and hopefully he can come on for Lukaku if things are going fine at around the 60th.

I disagree. This is a home match against a poor team. If we don't experiment with tactics in this match, then when? This is a perfect match for Conte to try a diamond again.

I too am all for Sanchez. His ability to stand on the ball and guard it while waiting for the teammates to run into position is far superior to Lukaku's. The man can actually be trusted to tame the ball every time. Thank god he isn't as rusty as some other players who have came back from injuries.
Overall incompetence and lackluster football from last night aside, I enjoyed that we were again actually attacking through the midfield and I imagine that will be more common whenever we field both Sanchez and Eriksen.

I'm confident that Conte isn't stupid enough to ignore what Eriksen brings to the table.

Has Conte ever played with a back 4 before?

He played with a back 4 a lot in his first year at Juventus. He also started with a back 4 at Chelsea as well but it wasn't working and he eventually switched to a back 3.

High iq fans hope that a coach that earns 12 mil per season for his football knowledge, and because he won 2 of the toughest leagues in the world isnt stupid enough to ignore things those said fans see. FIF at its best.

If you are going to place a dig at someone, at least quote the person and make polite inquiry engaging in an argument. Don't be a passive-aggressive bitch, especially a vague passive aggressive bitch.

There are richer, higher-earning managers than Conte that are known to be stubborn and irrational when it comes to their choices, and even more in particular, with excluding certain players for reasons principal at best. Guardiola and Zlatan is the example that first comes to mind.

I think Sanchez must start this one, for 3. reasons. first, he's playing well lately and he deserve to play more. another reason is that we need depth, not on paper but actual players that can help us when the usual starters can't handle things correctly. Sanchez is very important in that aspect, just like Sensi. we need them to be at their best, and i think Sanchez is in the right way and it will be a shame to stop his progress.

the last reason, and the main one, is Lautaro. Seems to me that everything around him with Barca, Messi, RM and all that, doesn't got the best out of him and seems like he isn't motivated as before. By playing Sanchez, Conte can deliver him a message that says "you are great, but you need to fight for your place as a starter just like everyone else". One of the greatest things Conte did this season is making everyone believe they have a chance to play. Bastoni is a starter over Godin, Esposito played before Politano. From already god much more minutes than last season, and he deserve it btw. my point is - Lautaro need to understand that he's not above the club or the team, and he should fight for his place. Sanchez is a great competition and i think it will get the best out of them.

also, Eriksaen, Barella and Brozo seems to me like the best we have. Can't wait to see them together from 1'.

I wouldn't mind Sanchez and Lukaku starting together. Sanchez that little bastard got knocked 3 times and still kept his dribble, he can keep the ball long enough to allow Lukaku to post up since he likes taking his sweet ass time in doing so.

A must win, don't care who start. IF we don't win this, just say goodbye to Seri A and focus on Copa & EL instead.

Sanchez is the better option at present. Lautaro has his head up his arse — or Barcelona's.

That first goal against Ludogorets was partly down to Sanchez's smart hold-up play and instinctive ability to pick out the right pass.
