As mentioned above Spaletti should really consider not playing Cancelo and to a lesser extent perisic. Perisic is a forward so if he's careful he can just avoid it. It's better if we manage to get through without those two because they are key to any chances we have to beating Lazio away. In fact, most of our starting XI is indispensable simply because there isn't an adequate alternative

The tests didn’t detect anything serious. Miranda has tightness in the adductor muscles of his right thigh. His condition will be evaluated day by day.

I am not so sure about that. Most sources report he'll probably miss Sassuolo but he'll be back against Lazio. I guess we need to wait and see.

Well, he lost to freaking Novara with his pants down. I agree that he was a good choice to hire at the time, possibly the best available choice in Italy at the time.

Lost to Milan in the Supercoppa whcih was in China iirc.
Lost at home to fucking Trabzonspor in the CL.
Lost to Palermo that had no manager despite being 2-1 up.

It was a god awful season given our resources and core squad.
Ranieri probably even did a worse job than Gasperini that year, but he tried to save face in Europe.
Strama shouldn't have remained as the head coach after that summer. At best he should have been part of the next manages's coaching team.4

We should have won the Scudetto that season or at least challenge for it. We ended up 6th...

Apparently Cancelo, Miranda, Brozovic, Perisic, Candreva, Vecino, Ranocchia and Éder are all one yellow away from suspension.

The problem is that the match against Sassuolo is that important that we can't afford to rest three, four players. Hope we will be 2-0, 3-0 up short after the break or so that we can substitute some important players.

i can't find the official document, but according to each and every site i read the players one yellow away from suspension are:

Ivan Perisic, Antonio Candreva, Andrea Ranocchia, Joao Cancelo and Eder for Inter;

Lucas Leiva, Ciro Immobile and Bastos for lazio.
