Apparently Cancelo, Miranda, Brozovic, Perisic, Candreva, Vecino, Ranocchia and Éder are all one yellow away from suspension.

The problem is that the match against Sassuolo is that important that we can't afford to rest three, four players. Hope we will be 2-0, 3-0 up short after the break or so that we can substitute some important players.

as said before, the ones at risk are only 5:

DIFFIDATI: Ranocchia, Cancelo, Candreva, Perisic, Eder

in additon, Vecino and D'ambrosio cannot play because of the cards last game. <- [this is incorrect, it only applied to the udinese game]

i had forgot about dambro. so it becomes an issue not playing cancelo, as the only alternative is santon, who especially at San Siro might be problematic, especially since we are likely already playing dalbert on the left
and ranocchia in the middle.

a back line of :

santon - skriniar - ranocchia - dalbert

seems a bit too adventurous, even against sassuolo at home (especially since we should try to win by 6, in case zenga blocks lazio)

my guess it is going to be

handa
cancelo - skriniar - ranocchia - dalbert
brozovic- valero
karamoh - rafinha - perisic
icardi

with candreva the only one "preserved" for the lazio game and cancelo/perisic with special instructions not to risk anything the might land them a yellow.

-----------

EDIT: NEVERMIND

i was reading the wrong week for vecino and d'ambrosio, they already skipped a game, so they are good to go again.
with d'ambrosio available, i would go with him instead of cancelo, and vecino instead of valero in the back mid

HANDA
DAMBRO - SKRINIAR - RANOCCHIA - DALBERT
BROZO - VECINO
KARAMOH - RAFINHA - PERISIC
ICARDI

Here's to hoping Candreva picks up a yellow.

If Perisic misses the Lazio game, we don't have a prayer.

i dont know if he prays or not but we will miss a player :trolldad:

Here's to hoping Candreva picks up a yellow.

He will be mega fired up against Lazio, if he just somehow manage to make better decisions, he could have a great game.

What about Brozo and Miranda? They already have seven yellows. After the fifth yellow they are not suspended after each following yellow?

This makes me so fucking proud. If the team fails us, if the management fails us, if the owner fails us atleast our fans won't fail us.

i can't find the official document, but according to each and every site i read the players one yellow away from suspension are:

Ivan Perisic, Antonio Candreva, Andrea Ranocchia, Joao Cancelo and Eder for Inter;

Lucas Leiva, Ciro Immobile and Bastos for lazio.
I hope Lucas picks up a suspension against our Zenga.

Yeah the possible Cancelo suspension is news to me.

Pretty sure Perisic and Ranocchia are a yellow from suspension though.

if we are a big team that hopes for top 4 we should be able to play a home game vs a team with nothing to play for and make a few changes along way to avoid suspensions for our biggest game of season the week after

handa
dalbert
skrinniar
rano
santon/drambasinsosososos
valero
brozo
rafinha
candreva
karomoah
icardi

sub candreva for eder 60th min

however i think spaletti will jsut play the same team tbh

I really hope we dont see santon rano and dalbert starting the same game at least one of them would gift a goal to sass.
Also i dont think our players are tired or anything like that so i dont see the need to rest them. Also i d much rather have the ones one yellow away from suspension holding back when going into challenges than not playing them. Especially cancelo and perisic.

Getting 70k fans against the likes of Torino and Sass is absolutely insane. Fans deserve CL this season for the effort they put in. Would love a comparison to how many people Milan got for those fixtures

I would play the best XI available, and not worry about suspensions. Even if its only Sassuolo, we can't fuck around as this game is like a final for us. We HAVE TO win this, or the next game won't matter. Sassuolo may not not playing for anything, but that can also mean they will play without fear.

Sure, if we are winning 2-0 or so, Spalletti can sub out the players on the suspension list.

We need 6-0, not 2-0. Wining at the Olimpico is not easy, it would be good if we only need a draw. And im sure that Crotone will give us this opportunity, we need a 6 goals advantage.

Why do people think lazio arent going to win against Crotone. Sure they are injury striken but i have no doubt they will win.

crotone desperately needs points, so they will give it all they have.
Lazio is obviously very superior, but it is conceivable they will have a hard match on their hands.

and is more 'hope' than 'think'

but the major point is that, IF they tie, we could take advantage with a 6-0 win, which is clearly unlikely but certainly not impossible, especially if we can go up by a couple very quickly, so that they lose the will to really fight for it.

Crotone already won last season against Lazio 3-1.

Lazio is a good team but not unbeatable. We already saw it against Atalanta, they are not in form in this last games.
