Funny how many of you underestimated Schalke... Yeah weakest Team, Easy win huh ? You forget one thing. they finished Second last Season and are by no means an easy Team. The analysis is spot on, but the reason for the space left by the midfield, the reason for the through balls not being dealt with, all revolves around lack of fitness and lack of pace. If you have a three man midfield that means the midfielders HAVE to put pressure on the fullbacks. I am pretty sure Stankovic, Cambiasso, Motta all know this, but they did not have the legs to pull it off.

We looked so tired during the derby that I thought players were saving energy, but no, apparently they were already completely exhausted before half time, back on Saturday!

Exactly. I for one hate myself for always being such an optimist, but here i am again.

And you know what i'll do next wednesday? I'll sit in my couch, will be wearing my jersey and will be watching and not expecting anything. For the first time in my life (after Bayern's game too when everything was 'finished') i'll be watching Inter calmly like any other team and not cheer.
