Specifically conte fucked us up but yes its nowhere near on the referee. Some people here have the loser mentality on blaming shit on other things like refs and other teams purposely fucking us up whereas its obvious that our 12m a year coach is not good enough in Europe. We've had all the players he asked for that are reasonable and still in the last game of our easiest CL group we have one foot out of the qualification.

There's no excuse for not winning and even if we qualify thats the least we can do after fucking up so many times.

If I recall correctly, Inter hit the crossbar a couple of times, missed a sitter from point blank range and a possible missed penalty from the ref. One of their players got an injury so Shakhtar played for a draw and our tactics never really altered to break them down.

Both teams have to win to insure the likelihood to advance. I expect them to come all out early and try to get a goal, then play 8 to 9 men back. Inter needs to score first so they'll open up then hopefully Inter can get them on the counter. We will have mindful of our playing at the back cause they will press us big time.

I see this possibility in a scenario where we trash Shakhtar 3-0 in the first half and it remains like 0-0 in the Spanish match. Then both teams will probably go a bit reserved for the second half.

What I fear most is we are winning the match and other team scores in the Spanish match. And in the end the equalizer arrives as the trailing team pushes hard for it. I'm talking about 75 mins or later. Then BOTH teams will be very scary to do anything risky.

But.

Let's just win our match first and not break our "end of the bargain".
