The bare minimum is a win with 1 goal difference. We should have been put in this position to begin with so I hope conte fucking does his job at least half as much as his salary.

Feel bad for him and Conte was definitely being vicious. But let's not forget Eriksen also takes pride in being an introvert AND didn't bother to learn Italian.

Either be goofy like Young and get away with the language. Or reflect how he regarded himself as superior at the beginning and everyone else in Serie A wasn't up to his majestic standard.

Just want him gone asap so everyone minimises the damage done.

I don't agree with the notion in "taking pride" in being introverted. Being an introvert isn't a choice, it's who you naturally are. And, to a certain extent, you can "extrovert" yourself, but that isn't a requirement and, generally speaking, you aren't wrong for doing so.

Is there any proof to the idea that Eriksen "didn't bother" learning Italian? He's Danish, he learned Dutch at Ajax, and I'm assuming he also learned to speak English during his school days, but he played several years in England as well anyway. Point being, I realize Italian isn't particularly related to the other three at all, but the idea of him not trying to learn a new language is inconsistent with what he had done previously. Not that it should've been a huge problem, anyway. There are several players around the club, as well as the manager, who can all speak English.

"He regarded himself superior" just sounds like complete projection and there's not much point in debating that if that's your stance.

Hopefully a loan deal can be worked out. If Conte stays through to next season, then it's probably time to cut ties. But until we know that for sure, it really would be most ideal to still have an option with him to give him a legitimate first chance under a new manager in 2021-'22. We owe him that as a club. Conte is just being spiteful for no good reason at all at this point and, while it's not in any way surprising with what we know about the guy, it's still vindictive, petty, and grossly unbecoming. We can't have one little spell of good fortune at this club without Conte throwing some kind of grenade into the works.

I hope he starts Hakimi in this match. It would be incredibly stupid to ruin his momentum after his great performance against Bologna. Especially in a home game we desperately need to win.

There is no way Hakimi can defend against pacey and tricky Shaktar winger.

That's all irrelevant. It's always been the case at Inter that everyone speaks Italian.

And it's always been the case that some people didn't speak it very well.

Lautaro didn't speak it well when he arrived as close as it sounds to Spanish, it's not grammatically as similar (French is closer for example in that aspect). But Lautaro had Icardi, Vecino, Balde, Valero, Miranda and possibly Vrsaljko who also spoke Spanish so he didn't really need to learn Italian very quickly in order to adapt.

Eriksen speaks English and he's unlucky that guys like Young and Lukaku are the complete opposites of him in terms of character. The level of English of our Italian players is questionable so you're left with De Vrij, Nainggolan, Sanchez and perhaps Brozovic, Perisic and Skriniar that can communicate in English to a degree. His only real 'fit' in terms of personality is De Vrij, but De Vrij speaks fluent Italian and doesn't really "need" Eriksen as much as he needs him. But perhaps Eriksen being able to communicate with De Vrij in Dutch as well can help somehow. It always felt like a good combination but I'm not sure if that Ajax-Feyenoord rivalry follows in the locker room :D

After recent succes with our old 3-5-2 (Regista) compared to the 3-4-1-2 (Trequartista), there's no doubt in my mind to use the first mentioned tactic. We don't posses any (fit) true AM player that has everything needed for that role. From flair, to ability to progress the ball, to ability to give dangerous forward passes to anything an AM role can require. The only one who comes close is Sánchez - and he's a striker for us. If he were to play as AM, we'd be left with Perisic and Pinamonti as striker debt.

I want to start with Darmian and Young for one big reason: balance. Balance in offense and defense. Keep in mind this game is not just ours to win - we also need one of Madrid or Borussia MGB to lose. If we lead 2-0 + by half time, Real will surely try to keep the game into a draw. Borussia doesn't seem like that type of team to me - but why would they not do it as well? Money, qualification, ... too many arguments. We cannot trust on opponents not in our game and we have to make our case as solid as possible. I find it imperative to not reach half time with a goal lead of more than 1. For neither team in our game. The longer we force Real Madrid and Borussia MGB to not play for a draw, the better our chances.

I expect Hakimi and Perisic to be brought on later on to solidify our lead OR make us win the game by playing more offensively. I absolutely do not want to see a sub of Kolarov or D'Ambrosio for the centreback position unless we have no other option. I prefer bringing in Ranocchia if we need to make a centreback change.

Conte seems like the type of person to go with this type of tactical setup, so I'm very confident this might be how we play out the game.

All of this is academic, because Conte speaks somewhat English and I'm sure Conte is fluent enough to get the important instructions across in his version English for Eriksen to understand.
There is something else apart from the language going on here


It's evident Eriksen will not see much playing time under Conte
So he is wasted on our bench , I hope we find a suitable club to pay decent money in Jan so we can all just focus on the tasks ahead of us

Seriously man, you count shakhar as a big team in italy? why the fuck hakimi not should start? because they have some fucking good winger?
We need attack this game and hakimi need to play, he our best attacking player with lukaku and lautaro, he does not need to be benched for this fucking shakthar winger and not for any team that so inferior to us, baside that if we get to the point that we need to scared ther winger, this is basically mean that we shit our pants again and insted of we attack them nonstop, they will attack us.. that mean we fucked hard and we deserve get the fuck out of CL..
