Skriniar admits he played badly after a win, what a fucking guy!

Well, "We are back"... and what a crazy way to show it, right at the end!

It's funny because, a few seconds before that, Trevisani said: "... this corner kick reminds me of something... what if "la prende Vecino"?
Then Vecino "la riprende" and he goes totally berserk (who didn't?), while Adani screams about "la garra charrua" and its mysticism.
Easter egg: in the heat of the moment, Trevisani suddenly mentions Berti ("There's Nicola Berti...") before getting interrupted by Adani, who speaks over him.
Maybe Nicolino stormed into the commentary box, surely he was involved in a mad and not-sober celebration.

September 18: again much love to Eupalla, goddess of the beautiful game, who wrote this stuff. We needed this.

GyXpYdf.jpg

Trevisani's commentary triggered so many Gobbi it's sad.

They won 7 Scudetti in a row, they have the best player in the world and they are favourites to win the CL but all they do is talk about us, what a sad existence.

its good we got a win too, dont we get like 300k bonus per win

That’s for a Europa league win, this win nexts us 1.5 million. Vecinos late goals have gained us tens of millions. Amazing for such an overall mediocre player.

I thought we played well last night. We created a lot in our midfield, and especially we created many chances which were starting from zero, so I would say our gameplay was good last night although we gave away many balls quite easily. There was also some beautiful combination between our players, so I would say finishing was the only thing which was missing last night.

The goals came very late, but the win was well deserved for us.

I don't understand FiF sometimes. It's like we want to just be negative.

People say tottenham controlled the game. What? This is a team that averages 55-56% possession every game, high presses and dominates the shit out of their oppponents, and creates loads of chances. They couldn't do shit against us. They had 1 clear chance and a fucking deflected goal. A deflected goal man! People talking about Icardi strike like it's luck? A deflected goal like that is the LUCKIEST OF ALL GOALS. As if Icardi never scores fucking golazo volleys (I swear to god/allah/whoever that Icardi is unbelievably underrated by his own Inter supporters).

Then uni says WE ARE lucky lamela and lucas weren't incisive? Aren't THEY lucky politano wasn't incisive? Or easy header for Peri that he should've put away? Or lucky for shit offside call on clear 1v1? Sorry but it's a bit ridiculous to only claim 'luck' when it's against Inter.

Soo, I got out of surgery at noon. By the time I began to feel my balls again the game was underway. Still, managed to pay four euro to be able to watch on a shitty "entertainment screen". Eriksen's goal prompted me to tell the nurses to bring me a large dose of pain killers, cause I thought we are going to get trashed on home ground once again again. But god damn, what a comeback, lucky but vital for this team to get back on track. Icardi showed that he is well capable of delivering the goods on the highest level. And Brozo had some amazing passes, I must say he was MOTM for me. All in all I'm ecstatic about this win, hopefully it will motivate the lads in Serie A as well. BTW Vecino is now officially the CL goat.

Some of my English friends had gone a bit overboard with the EPL/Spurs hype last few days. So today I'm enjoying forwarding this to each of them:

For me todays match showed:

Keita should play much more (but not as striker), Valero should play at last some 20-30 minutes, Candreva should never play again.

We badly need creative players that can make our game unpredictable and should make profit of the 2-3 we have.

Im even thinking that Skriniars crossing was not bad. He should play like in the national team as midfielder sometimes, now that De Vrij improved.

I wish I could have tons of pain killers to take every time I watch Inter

Hope you get well soon bro

You aren't wrong here. Our problem, and also the problem against Parma, Sassuolo and every match in the league is how less we create. Till the 86th minute, we did not have a single good scoring chance. It is plain obvious that we have lacked any kind of incisiveness and penetration in all the matches so far.

Can someone explain the gag behind all the "riprenda Vecino" "la prenda vecino" comments? "Prendere" means "to take" right?

When did we have a chance of scoring in the first 80 minutes of the match? We had zero attacking game plan, as per usual. THAT is why people are pessimistic. Same garbage as per usual.

Our defense almost always plays well. We hardly give opposition team chances, and really the only clear chance of the game for Spurs was the opportunity Kane F'd up.

yep it's because Adani screamed this at Lazio-Inter when Vecino scored. Adani is a expert for South American football, he likes players from there. Thats why he goes mad when Vecino scores

Grande Handa, MOtM for me, kept us in the game.

Hope to see more of Valero this season - he does what he should be doing, especially that we lack a proper playmaker.

And m gonna suck his dick. Not kidding. Im gonna suck icardis dick.

i want to see 4 center backs :fuckyea: rano miranda de vrij and skriniar instead vecino

This would have probably costed us the game :D hope you`re trollin` hard with rano vs spurs wingers...

just play our 4-2-3-1, and skriniar wont be worse than our garbage fbs

Icardi
Perisic - Nainggolan - Politano
Brozovic - Vecino
Asamoah - Miranda - de Vrij - Skriniar

Congrats, Sir! :slick:

vecino sux.
but his heading is world class :trolldad:

This is over, we can’t do shit.
NEVER lose faith, my friend. Sometimes is the most precious thing you got..

Watch an army here blaming Handanovic.
Man of the match for me (with Asamoah close 2nd), keeping us in the game all along. Goal not his fault, was already in movement by the time of deflection.

where are all the clowns who claim we can win spurs lmao.
:joker: :rules: :jester: :boogy: :interflag:

Congrats guys for the win. Last 5-10 mins was very good. Home games are very important and finally somehow got much needed 3 points.
Yeah, it`s just mind bogglin` why we don`t start all games with this grit and determination. Fucking attack them before you`re running out of time! It`s like we have to wait something shitty to happen until we actually give a fuck...

Speechless. Just fucking depression. I have a job interview tomorrow and I am already not in the best mood tonight.
Did you get some sleep after the game? How did it eventually go m8? :D

I was watching with my old man and when Icardi scored I said to him now we'll win the game, just few minutes later we did. Crazy Inter.

Wait? Who said Icardi's strike was lucky? He was lucky he was partially injured and therefore wasn't in his usual position occupying defenders in the box, but that was a beautiful clean strike

Inter’s late Champions League winner condemned Tottenham Hotspur to a third defeat in a row, raising questions in the British press about their mentality.

The Nerazzurri secured a famous win on their return to Europe’s top club competition, with late goals from Mauro Icardi and Matias Vecino turning the game around.

“Another game, another set-piece concession for Tottenham and another morale-shuddering setback, which will only intensify the questions about the team’s mentality,” writes the Guardian’s Dave Hynter.

“After the defeats by Watford and Liverpool that shadowed Spurs to Milan, this breakdown cut them to the core.”

Writing in the Independent, Jack Pitt-Brooke accused Spurs of “a spectacular five-minute meltdown”.

Praising the atmosphere inside San Siro, he notes “Inter began as if their fans and the anthem had awoken something inside them. As if they had to prove their right to be here all over again” but asserts the English side then took control of the game before “moment of explosive brilliance” from Mauro Icardi.

The Daily Mail notes that before his late equaliser Icardi “had barely been given a kick, let alone a sniff of goal by Tottenham” and yet “here he stood, a couple of yards outside the penalty area, judging the flight of the cross from Kwadwo Asamoah”.

The match report goes on to describe “the sweetest of volleys” from the Nerazzurri captain, as San Siro “erupted once again”.

The Times focuses on Spurs manager Mauricio Pochettino who “made that strange analogy about cows in fields, watching a train go by every day but never quite learning what it signifies”.

Oliver Kay notes “this is perhaps his bleakest period since taking charge” and concludes “this game defies logic, but Tottenham cannot say they had not been warned”.

------------------------ Poch rant followed-up

Spalletti-1809-_Pochettino-epa.jpg

An angry Mauricio Pochettino accused the Press of ‘disrespect’ after Tottenham Hotspur’s 2-1 defeat to Inter on Wednesday.

Late goals from Mauro Icardi and Matias Vecino stunned Pochettino’s Spurs in their Champions League opener at San Siro, and BBC Sport reports how the Coach took issue to being asked about the exclusions of Kieran Trippier and Toby Alderweireld.

“Against Watford and against Liverpool, they were on the pitch,” he said.

“Wow, what a question, such an easy question? [It’s] easy to talk about the players that aren’t here. I think we need to talk about football. Because, you know I think you force me to say something that is not good.

“You disrespect the players that showed better qualities than the opponent. Why disrespect the players that aren’t on the pitch?

“You can blame me and say, ‘Gaffer, you were so, so rubbish in your selection of the starting XI’.

“But please don’t disrespect the players who were playing, because it’s my decision. Kieran Trippier, Toby Alderweireld - we have 25 players.

“And you believe that and sometimes you behave like you ask me with your question, that you can play only 11, and the other 13 or 14 players are rubbish.

“Sorry, but I am so disappointed because I am a person that respects you a lot and the players.

“When my decision is to play with an XI, you must respect my decision because I am the manager.

“I don’t understand. Sorry. It is so painful to hear when some people are not here, and you judge in that way, and you kill players who give their best.”
