Good win, hopefully qualification and the return of lukaku and soon brozovic ignites the season. WC be damned, let’s hope the boys keep focus.

What a beautiful day. Despite all of our issues, we move on and Barca, after all their ridiculous spending in the summer, knocked out of the CL. Same with the ladri cunts. It doesn’t get any better as an Interista tbh

Easy peasy, qualifying into 16 should become our routine again. With Lautaro, Lakaka, Dzeko an co. in form we can fight anybody in 16.

So happy for Barca too, they deserved it. Now they can ban Inter shirts forever :awyeah:

Was watching the post match at Sky and a curious fact was mentioned.
Apparently Barca had predicted in the budget estimations for this year a position in the quarter final in CL while Inter had predicted 3rd in group meaning Europa League budget.

That is quite reasonable/safe thinking from our side and fucking unbelievable/reckless estimation from Barca if you ask me. A club already in a shit position financially does another bet including quarter finals in their budget estimation lol

With the group we had it's normal that we predicted to be 3rd. But fuck, with a normal group like Tottenham had, we should be asking for first or second spot for sure.

No the budget estimation is done before the group stage draw but we were 3rd pick so we could predict a challenging draw .
We were being conservative in the budget estimation no matter what group we get to not risk overspend in an already difficult financial position. Barca was doing the opposite apparently

Barca are stupid and conceited to think they assured themselves a spot in the quarterfinal. Any tournament will be unpredictable let alone UCL where the competition is fierce. To make thing worse and hilarious, they also wager themselves to win La Liga when they pull the levers. Good luck winning the league where Madrid is such a well-oiled machine. As much as I hate our financial predicament, our barrel-scraping is still better than them make an irrational wager about their fate.

Just finished watching the replay and there’s a lot worth praising.

Dimarco was MoTM me for. Him and Bastoni ran rampant on the left. As much as I’m rooting for Gosens to overtake him, Dimarco remains the top choice for now.

The midfield’s still working wonderfully well, and has been ever since the Udinese shitshow. It was interesting seeing Mkhitaryan being given freedom to roam. I wonder if we’ll see more of Miki or Calhanoglu playing as a (semi)trequartista against weaker opponents.

Lautaro was unlucky not to score and Dzeko continues to be a class act. If he had a “Lukaku” last season, and Dzeko wasn’t driven to the ground week-after-week, we may well have won the league.

Anyway, I hope the confidence continues to grow. It’d be wonderful to actually have options again once Lukaku and Brozovic return to full fitness.
