The guy is 31, the only problem is that he showed up at a very old age in Lyon and Europe(29 years, common!!)! Still phenomenal! Especially with his free kicks, pick him above anybody, may be even over Carlos, he is better than Ronnie by miles in free kicks!

why did Juninho retire? Not enough playing time

He should do another World Cup.

Maybe it was the disappointment that forced him to quit.

Wonder if I can
Czech hero Karel Poborský officially announced retiring from international football. Last season spent in České Budejovice in czech 2nd division (he is co-owner of that club). In my opinion Karel was always better than :yuck:nedvěd:yuck:...;)

"King Kahn" also retired from the German Mannschaft.

He described the playoff match for the third place as the most emotional of his career. He will continue for one more year in Bayern.

Also, his performance in this world cup won't allow the next Italian mannager to let him play in the next world cup seeing as how Cassano might fit in his place well...

very true cassano was very unlucky to be left out but not for the next world cup.he would be super fit and would want to prove a point
