It started with Handa in 2012, then in the winter of 2013 Kova and Kuzmanovic joined,Vidic joined Mazzari's ranks in 2014,then came Mancini and he added Brozovic in the winter of 2015 and last summer escalated with some more guys like Jovetic,Ljajic and Perisic.
Now some didn't manage to make it here for obvious and less obvious reasons but the club isn't an Asado based clan anymore but a Cevapcici clan .I believe the shift from Argie land to the Balkans is the prices that they stick to the players. With our current situation maybe this particular area is closer and more available for scouts and also the league are less competitive so the clubs can't demand astronomical fees for their talents...like some Argie and Brazil clubs do...

Here is an interesting list that a Croatian site came up with...It represents how would a former Jugoslavia NT look like.

GK's: Asmir Begovic (Bosnia-Erzegovina, Chelsea), Samir Handanovic (Slovenia, Inter), Jan Oblak (Slovenia, Atletico Madrid).

Defenders: Darijo Srna (Croazia, Shakhtar Donetsk), Domagoj Vida (Croazia, Dinamo Kiev), Branislav Ivanovic (Serbia, Chelsea), Aleksandar Kolarov (Serbia, Manchester United), Nikola Maksimovic (Serbia, Torino), Neven Subotic (Serbia, Borussia Dortmund), Stefan Savic (Montenegro, Atletico Madrid).

Midfielders: Luka Modric (Croazia, Real Madrid), Ivan Rakitic (Croazia, Barcelona), Mateo Kovacic (Croazia, Real Madrid), Ivan Perisic (Croazia, Inter), Josip Ilicic (Slovenia, Fiorentina), Nemanja Matic (Serbia, Chelsea), Miralem Pjanic (Bosnia ed Erzegovina, Roma).

Forwards: Mario Mandzukic (Croazia, Juventus), Nikola Kalinic (Croazia, Fiorentina), Edin Dzeko (Bosnia ed Erzegovina, Roma), Stevan Jovetic (Montenegro, Inter), Adem Ljajic (Serbia, Inter), Aleksandar Mitrovic (Serbia, Newcastle).

The starting 11: Handanovic; Ivanovic, Maksimovic, Savic, Kolarov; Modric, Rakitic; Pjanic, Ljajic, Perisic; Mandzukic.

However it seems that our grande coach is already tired of Ljajic and even more so of Jovetic.
Now Balkan based players tend to have great technical ability but their mentality is sometimes questionable.
Not to put everyone in the same pot but...not all are like Handa and Perisic, who seem as top pro's.This has to be said...maybe Mancio sees that those two have those mentality issues, laziness could be a problem here...in training especially.I could understand that tbh.

Moving back to the list...
Some of the choices are a bit out of place tbh, well everyone has their taste but Ivanovic and Srna are getting very old and Ivanovic particularly is having a shitty season at Chelsea as he is showing rapid degradation in his physical attributes. Also Ilicic is a odd choice tbh.He maybe had some good games for Fiora this sesaon but he is no great player by any means...Certainly not in the company of players like Pjanic and Modric or Rakitic. All in all the squad seems pretty strong and it could cause plenty of problems to the bigger nations in Euro competitions and even at the WC,the former Yugoslav NT was pretty competitive in the past...also no Epic Brozo...However this starting eleven seems talented as fuck but it lacks some hardworking players,a lot of technical players but little physical players to help in df.

Anyway, let's put a side the list as some of the players in that said list are way out of Inter's reach anyway but there are a lot of young talents still playing their game in the home leagues and could provide a future "arsenal" for our glorious Internazionale...International indeed.

maybe I'll add some names of those talented players later...

They were in Inter long before. Stankovic, Mihajlovic, Simic, Jugovic, Pancev, Pandev. Not 5-6 players at once, of course, as it is now.

Balkan players have a history of adapting well to Italy so it makes sense to target that area. It also seems that HIV has good connections there so it's probably gonna be something that will continue.

HIV would technically be Branca, since it comes before Aids :work:
