Okay so we're still running this racket with these Chinese sponsorships.

Two Of Inter’s Chinese Sponsors Cannot Pay The Money They Owe The Nerazzurri, Italian Media Report

Two of Inter’s sponsors from China will not be able to pay their fees to the club in full this year as they are having their own financial difficulties, according to a report in the Italian media.

As has been reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport, Imedia and Beijing Yixinshijie will not be able to repay all or part of their debts that come from commercial contracts signed in previous years.

Imedia owes Inter €55.9 million, and the second company owe €7.8 million. Inter have set aside a provision of €39.3 million.

These figures became known at the shareholders meeting that was attended by Inter President Steven Zhang. The positives from the meeting were that Inter’s other sponsorship deals such as the one with Socios are helping to limit the effects of the Coronavirus pandemic.

The other major help was the sales of Achraf Hakimi and Romelu Lukaku to Paris Saint Germain and Chelsea respectively.

There's also a mention on financial statements about hearings in front of Uefa Club Financial Control Body regarding FFP and the break even requirement. The club can't predict the outcome of these hearings.

Have you guys noticed the new information regarding the sponsorships, specially shirt sponsorships. The numbers were something like this

This season: 26m€
22/23: 29m€
23/24: 31m€
24/25: 30m€

Plus perf bonuses every year.

If I remember the numbers correctly.

What was interesting was that socios.com pays us 16m€ this year, not the 20m€+ as initially reported. Also they pay only 1m€ after this season and someone else will take the main sponsorship after this season. This is kind of big news and totally out of the blue. Which goes to show how lost media is sometimes with these things as none reported the shirt sponsorships like this when they were announced.

Now it's said it will be either Zytara (Digital bank partnership) or Digitalbits (cryptocurrency partnership) in our shirt next season and I guess for several years. We remember that 85m€ or something multi-year deal we made with these ones.

just goes to show how much BS the socios stuff is. They're paying big money to get the initial capital inflow from the hype, and then basically continuing the rights.

I dont know why people touch this shit. Smells like the Squid Game crypto.

It's worse because it's subtle and it's pretending that it's a legit operation, offering a legit product. At least the Squid scam didn't hide its nature :D
Watch us get Bitfinex/Tether sponsorship next...

I mean Inter itself had the platform of doing this, with the "membership" they introduced a couple of years back, they don't need an external party to do this nonsense.

What do you mean legit? What is the value proposition of socios.com? They are selling these fan tokens and by owning fan tokens you can vote on some meaningless stuff regarding the clubs of the tokens you own.

No matter how stupid that is, I can't say it's not legit. I can't say it's some kind of a scam.

When it comes to the cryptocurrency side of it and how people might think that the value of this tokens would somehow skyrocket to the moon at some point is totally different discussion. It has nothing to do with the value proposition of socios.com. Of course one can say it's indeed subtle in the sense that because this is in crypto space, people associate owning these tokens to "get rich fast" idea.

Then another thing is, has there been any of these votes yet regarding Inter?

We need to get rid of Chinese as soon as possible. We need stable owner so we can keep our best players. We will lose Brozo cause this fkn owners cant give him higher salary than 4m per year? Without Brozo we are fucked up big time.

I've not seen it anywhere and maybe not the right thread, but premier league renewed their rights in America. The deal is worth 2.6 billion dollars for 6 years. Serie a sold their rights in the summer for three years for like 200 million...

So glad we all stopped the superleague

They're selling ice to eskimos.

There's also the handicap of language and culture.

The only way Serie A gets great tv deals is if the teams start to bring the very best players and hype the fuck out of them in Asia. The best players still go to the four clubs that aren't in England (PSG, Real Madrid, Bayern and Barcelona) even if they're losing their steam a bit, so it's not as if the PL has overgrown these guys despite the money. The appeal is there for lower tier of solid players, but it's mostly monetary.

Serie A also lost a generation of future and current players that weren't paying attention to this league much in the last 10 years, so it hurts indirectly that way.

Superleague can get fucked!

Nobody is dumb enough to pay billions for a corrupted league by Juve's favoritism...

We (Serie A in general) need them to be dissolved to return to the top again. Like our treble.

We kinda need Italian teams to do well in Europe.

Even if it's with the Europa League. The idiots could compete for that and win but instead they want to try to secure a CL spot from the league, which is the corrupted way. The system will only allow the teams it wants to compete for the few spots that aren't going to be awarded by merit.

Roma needs to win the shitty Conference shit.
Napoli or Lazio need to win the Europa League. Milan needs to get their heads out of their asses and challenge for it as well, but I get that giving up now is convenient as they can focus entirely on the league.
The gobbi and Atalanta need to do well in the Champions League and we need to stop embarrassing ourselves.

TV money is followed by hype and since we cannot create hype out of thin air and sell ice to eskimos, we need results to speak. The vicious cycle of needing money to pull that off is a myth. Atalanta and Villarreal are good examples of that. Sevilla also grew because of their EL success.

That way you can compete against a shady enemy that's pulling the strings. Unfortunately, they're the household Italian name so having them out of the league will not be beneficial economically. But sending them back to Serie B for their recent crimes of last decade would be great nonetheless :D
